Pelican improved an already great case by simplifying some features, specifically the handles. The carry handles are now more ergonomic and not as complicated with useless locking features. They also appear to have reduced the overall weight without sacrificing the protective abilities. Compared to an older model I still have its much improved. 5

THIS PRODUCT IS VERY CONVENIENT TO CARRY THINGS WITH US. THE FOAM INSIDE CUT VERY SPECIFICALLY SO THAT WE CAN INSERT ANY ITEMS WITH ANY SHAPE.A WONDERFUL IDIOLOGICAL METHOD OF CUTTING. 5

I use my pelican 1650 case for travel in my tattoo career. I really like that there are handles on every side of the case except for the bottom. there are wheels on the bottom to role the case. I havent noticed anything wrong with the case at all. Its sturdy, strong, and well fitted with foam. 5

I just bought three PCB Einstein strobes and wanted a single, protective case to transport and store them. There is room in the 1650 case for all three, as well as room to create a pocket for all of the power cords. You could probably put these three lights closer together and create a pocket for the reflectors, but you'd be pushing it. The wheels roll very smoothly and the pull handle latches in place in a high and low position. The pluck-n-pull foam works extremely well and, with the use of toothpicks as guides, allows you to create pockets that firmly support whatever you are storing. The reviewing options list bulky as a con, but I think that most buying this case are purchasing it because it's bulky. Bulky can be good if you're talking about protection, and in that sense, it's bulky because it provides complete protection of your gear. 5
