Its amazing how different in size the 1500 is compared with the 1550! II use the 1500 for my 15 Macbook Pro and all the accessories required for portable field video editing- this is a great little case that takes care of my essential post-production platform. You can fit these EASILY into any overhead locker on an aircraft.

I use this Pelican box to store my lenses when I am not using the. It makes organizing and storing very easy. The box is very durable and the dividers are perfect for organizing photo gear.

This is the second case I purchased from Pelican and I'm extremely happy with it. I store my Canon 5D in this one and have the 1600 to store my Canon 5DII and lenses. Never again do I worry about my cameras and gear getting bounced around. One thing I recommend is to spend the little extra and get the dividers. In my opinion offers as much protection and makes it easier if you want to bring different lenses or other photo gear.

I bought this to compliment the bigger 1600 case I also use. I like the dividers over the foam. This case is Pelicans typical top notch quality. I think its a good size for travel with a generous camera kit as well but mine is used mostly for storage

I use this case with 4x Anton Bauer Digital 90's and the LP2 Dual Gold Mount Battery Charger. It fits everything perfectly with minimal space left over. For my needs I did away with the standard insert of Pluck and Pull foam and ordered a Padded Divider Insert that fits this case size. All and all I love the case.

This is a wonderful product! I use it for my Rebel XSi with two lenses, one is a large zoom lens and the other is a macro lens. The pick 'n pluck foam in this is superb and allows you to customize your case exactly to your needs. The case is a little deep (definitely not a con though) so you will have to cut the foam pieces to place back into the case so that your equipment doesn't sink all the way to the bottom. You could very easily put this case through heck and back with your equipment staying unharmed. The only thing I will complain about is that I don't have more of them. Keep in mind the interior dimensions of the case and make sure it'll fit your equipment ahead of time.

Pelican always provides great cases. I've been using these cases at work for the past several years, working on boats, keeping cameras and other equipment safe and dry. This is the first case I've bought for personal use and so far I am equally as pleased. I always feel confident that my camera equipment is secure, safe, and dry when using this case. The pick and pluck foam allows for perfect customization. I love the way it snugly holds my camera and lenses.
