Q: 1. Is there a divider option that divides the vertical space in half instead of into thirds?

A: You can velcro the divider anywhere but the other pieces which a\dd strength will not span the 1/2 way as they are only 1/3s not 1/2s if this makes sense to you. If you only want a 1/2 divided space your items must fill those two spaces as there will not be mid section connections. so the middle divider will be floppy in center.

Q: 2. Need box like the 1560, with out wheels and pull out handle?

A: I have the 1560 with the handle and wheels however I never use the handle pulling with the wheels due to the sensitivity of my equipment to rough surfaces, and they are so well confined that I haven't ever been hindered by their presence, and they case has been absolutely great protecting my expensive equipment.

Q: 3. I cannot tell from the photo, but is there a removable flap at the bottom that will allow you run audio cables into the bottom of the zoom? Ive been looking for a way to clip the Zoom to my belt so I can monitor wireless audio being fed into it.

A: I think this is the best accessory for the Zoom H4n. All sides, back and front can be open to access all the controls and soccets and close it back quickly and securely by the velcro strips. I prefer to use a shoulder strap attached to the D Loop rather than attach it in my belt. With shoulder strap I can access the H4n quickly rather than removing it from the belt and remount it again to the belt.

Q: 4. Would the case be able to keep humidity away if dehumidifier beads are put in the case?

A: Yes, as well as anything could. I have one of these cases and use it in Japan, which has extremely high humidity in summer. So far I have had no problems. It seals tight shut.

Q: 5. How many cubic feet is this case? I recently purchased the silica gel to protect against humidity, and the instructions say that the gel will protect three cubic feet. Any math wizards out there?

A: There are free converters on-line. Personally I would not worry about it . . . . . if you feel you need more silica gel packs they can be had for free at a variety of places like Wal Mart when the night shift is stocking . . . . . or just look around and toss a couple of extra ones in the case.

Q: 6. Can I use this to carry my celestron 130 slt telescope?

A: I do not know the dimensions of your telescope, but if it will fit inside the interior dimensions of the case it should work as the pluck and pull foam is completely customizable...

Q: 7. Will the Pelican 1560 case be safe to check in, as is (as a checked in bag), at the airport? Or, are there any additional precautions that need to be taken, such as additional locks that might be needed for added security/protection so the case does not open accidentally during flight?

A: I check this, and other, Pelicans all the time. You don't need to lock them to keep them closed as long as the latched are properly snapped shut. One time they inspected one of my cases and didn't properly latch it closed. This allowed stuff to fall out.

A: I have a Surface Pro 4 and have had no issues at all.

Q: 10. Will this Pelican Storm case performs better than the new Pelican Air Case (1535)?

A: I am not familiar with the Pelican Air. I do know that the Storm cases weigh less than the regular Pelican cases. Which is why I prefer the Storm. This is especially helpful when shipping or flying as luggage. That being said the lighter Storm case is extremely durable & I have never had any problem or failure shipping around the USA & over seas. I also prefer the Storm case latches. They are easy to use & never fail.
