I think anyone who works in production has had a pair of these cans on their head at some point. They're reliable performers, durable and priced well.

I've used these headphones for more then 20 years. Their frequency response to highs and lows are perfect. And that's why its great for studio applications. Also use it onsite for weddings. I think I've gone through like 5 or so but keep on coming back to the same model.

My first pair lasted nearly 30 years. All I did was change the pads every 10 years. I gave them to my son.
Great field reference headphones.

The sound you'd expect from a more expensive pair of headphones. I'm a bit of a headphone fanatic, but wanted something that would pair well with my mic and Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. While most headphones would do the job, I wanted these to be comfortable but not 100% noise cancelling. These fit that bill perfectly. The collapsible design is a bonus. They sound great - no distortion and are quite responsive to fine tuning adjustments to ensure accurate and quality output.

My only concern is the wire from the head pad to each headphone. I'm always afraid I'm going to pull it out. However, this has not been an issue. I should note the wire appears because when you adjust the headphones there is a grooved metal (steel?) adjustment band that is exposed. I like it because they stay put and you aren't constantly having to readjust them.

The coiled cable is very long and high quality. The adapter for the plug screws into place to ensure, again, a good connection without any loss of sound quality.

This is my first pair of professional headphones and they came highly recommended due to their relative affordability for such a high quality, and their durability. Am loving them so far!
