A: The 3 inch dimension of the PX3 does not include the strap loops. And the current version has fixed strap loops, and not the removable loops as shown in the picture. I used them on 2 Rebels during a trip to Italy, and they worked great. The rubber padding keeps the plate from twisting, and the strap loops allow me to mount a hand strap on the right, and a neck strap on the left. I have since ordered more of these plates for my other cameras.The DTB-60 is also half the price of the PX3.
