Decoding an HD SMPTE ST 2110 IP signal, the SMPTE ST 2110 IP to SDI Mini-Converter from AJA enables you to monitor and output SMPTE ST 2110 video (RTP) and audio (AES67) over 10 GigE network connectivity.

Featuring two 10 GigE SFP+ cages that support optional SFP+ modules of your choice, the converter allows you to connect an IP signal, which it decodes and formats for source monitoring and dual 3G-SDI output. Audio is output embedded as well as over L/R analog RCA jacks. The two SFP+ cages allow "hitless switching" so there's no loss of frame synchronization in critical applications. The converter has a compact, rugged, and fanless design suitable for use in studio and in the field.

A: The Datavideo SE500 has standard definition Composite and S-Video inputs. This Mini Converter SDI Multiplex 4k is designed to convert different varieties of 4k SDI signals to other SDI signals, this is not the product you need and will not work with the SE500. The DVX200 has a standard BNC Video Output for SD. A: This converter model doesn't have grab/freeze frame on the output when the input signal is lost.

A: The setup program has a minimum requirement of 10.12 but some of these applications will work on earlier OS versions. You could test this by downloading the app and seeing if it will install. That said, you only need to install the app if you are going to update firmware on the device.

A: The Blackmagic Design 2110 IP Converter 4x12G PWR and Blackmagic Design Studio Converter have some similarities but the Blackmagic Design Studio Converter does not handle or convert 2110 mainly. Each are different tools for different jobs.
