Pull focus with ease by mounting a monitor on your Nucleus-M FIZ Hand Unit with the Monitor Bracket from Tilta. The rotating bracket attaches with a male rosette to the hand unit with the Tilta ARRI-Standard Rosette Adapter installed and is tightened by a thumbscrew.

The other end of the bracket features a 15mm rod clamp that attaches to a 3.9" standard 15mm rod. The monitor plate attaches to the other end of the rod with its own 15mm rod clamp, and your monitor secures to the top of the plate with a thumbscrew, allowing easy tilt adjustment. The bracket also features one female rosette and four 1/4"-20 threads for attaching other accessories.

Q: 1. Does this controller (or another one) let the operator easily change speed during a zoom (for example, to smoothly feather the start and end)?

A: The Tilta Nucleus-M Handgrip (Right) BH #TIWLCT03HR • MFR #WLC-T03-HR offers zoom speed control in the grips menu, but it is at the speed you set for the zoom unless you hold down the A/B button, which grants snap zoom speed when operating.

Q: 2. What cable do I need to power this handle from a D-Tap? Can it be powered chained from a M motor?

A: The handgrip needs to be powered with batteries but can power a single motor with a 7-pin to 7-pin cable. The voltage from a P-tap cable is too high and can be dangerous for the handle.

Q: 3. Is there a way to easily/quickly switch between different focus motors in a multi cam shoot from the hand controller?

A: Yes, you could quickly pair another motor. However, having a second Hand Controller would be the best option and paired to the motors on the second Unit. While it is fast a second hand controller paired and setup would be the best way to work quickly and without setup delays on set.

Q: 4. Which batteries should you buy for this?

A: This is powered by two style 18650 batteries which are not included and must be sourced separately. We do not sell them at this time.

Q: 5. Can be used with WCU4 snd cforce mini motors?

A: Unfortunately, the Nucleus-M Handgrips does not use the LBUS connection needed to run CForce Mini Motors and cannot connect to a ARRI WCU-4.

Q: 6. Will this work with Nikon d3300,3400, and D4 cameras as far as record controls and focus and zoom with the two motors?

A: Tilta doesn't have a Run/Stop cable for those Nikon cameras yet but this also requires P-Tap power from a brick battery or D-Tap port + a 15MM rod system.

Q: 7. Does this handle come with the right angle rosette mount? If not how is it mounted? I’m trying to figure out how to mount it to a tripod handle. Thanks!

A: A right angle rosette is not included.

Q: 8. can you run/stop with this motor through usb-c?

A: The Tilta Nucleus Nano II FIZ Lens Control Motor Kit does not have any camera controls.

A: As part of the Nucleus-M system, the Wireless Handgrip provides a run/stop function for select cameras. Check with manufacturer for compatible cameras.
