The 77mm Benro Master Series ND Filter has a 32,000x filter factor that provides a 15-stop exposure reduction. Its 4.5 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By increasing your aperture or slowing your exposure time, you can control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.

To prevent internal ghosting and reflections, each glass surface includes multiple layers of antireflection coating. These coatings also offer greater protection to the filter substrate and help it to stay clean for longer than with uncoated filters. The nano coating associated with Benro Master Series neutral density filters provides an additional 13th layer over each side of this filter, resulting in an improved beading effect when in contact with water for greater cleaning efficiency.

This filter is constructed from SCHOTT B270 glass for increased optical clarity as well as color fidelity and features a brass filter ring for enhanced durability and to prevent jamming .

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. is it possible to put the the monopod legs from benro's other monopods onto the monopod that is built in to this tripod?

A: No, the other monopod legs are not compatible with the tripod.

Q: 2. Does the center column have a hook for hanging a sandbag?

A: It does!

Q: 3. What's the difference between series 1 and 2?

A: The series 2 is stronger and taller.

Q: 4. Will the Benro 3 leg locking base #BEVT2 work on this monopod?

A: I can't address the issue of the foot being removable from this particular monopod but I can respond to the usefulness of Benro three footed monopods. First of all to make a blanket statement that three footed monopods are useless is ridiculous. I have a Benro three footed monopod that I use with binoculars and a small spotting Scope and it performs very well. It adds a great deal to the stability of the view through these optics, far better than a conventional monopod. It's not as stabil as a tripod but it does a good job and is lighter in weight, has a smaller foot print and is easier to move about. So, just because it doesn't work for you doesn't mean it can't work for someone else.

Q: 5. Can the rubber foot of the Benro MAD38A monopod be unscrewed off the foot, then the monopod be attached to the Benro VT2 (3-feet locking base)?

A: I have read on the 3-foot base page that people have used it with the MAD 38A - so I'm confused! There is a tool included that fits the nut holding the included foot on, but I cannot turn it myself to see what the results are. So, there is conflicting information out there (here).

Q: 6. What is the diameter of the top plate?

A: The diameter of the base plate is 2.5 inches.

Q: 7. The pivot foot is too stiff and makes panning difficult. In soft ground the whole foot grabs the dirt. Any replacement ideas without buying 3 feet?

A: Really the best solution is the Benro 3-Leg Locking Base For Monopods linked here. https://bhpho.to/3fC8c6s. This will grip the ground and then allow for smooth panning. Any solution without 3 feet on the bottom will not have the same panning action.

Q: 8. Can i used this with Benro GD3WH 3-Way Geared Head?

A: Yes, the Benro GD3WH 3-Way Geared Head can be used with this Benro tripod.

Q: 9. What's the base diameter i.e. where the tripod mounts?

A: With our calipers, we measured 56.9mm / 2 6/25" on the mounting platform.

Q: 10. Does this tripod good for shooting northern lights?

A: Idk but I'm loving it as it is very sturdy and easy to use.
