Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Whrre can i get extra screws

A: I personally don't know. I would try contacting the maker of the tripod, or asking B&H to see if they could direct you. This is whatI would have to do. Best answer I can give you. Sorry.

Q: 2. how thick are the legs?

A: LEG DIAMETER 1 28.6 mm LEG DIAMETER 2 25.2 mm LEG DIAMETER 3 21.8 mm

Q: 3. Where can I buy a replacement weight hook for the bottom of the center column? I lost mine :(

A: Look for this product here at B&H Photo: Induro WHK-RPL-02 Replacement Weight Hook for Series 2 TripodBenro & Induro parts seem to be interchangeable.

Q: 4. What is the diameter of the base plate?

A: A little under 3", about 2 7/8"

Q: 5. Do you have a head mount reducing bolt from 3/8-16 to 1/4-20?

A: Reducing? I don't think that exists but the TAD27A incorporates a reversing bolt; it comes as ⅜ but per the instructions you can unscrew that bolt, flip it, and then you've got ¼.

Q: 6. Is the 3/8” stud threaded into a corresponding 3/8 threaded hole in this tripod head? Can it be unscrewed?

A: Yes, the 3/8" stud can b e removed.

Q: 7. Is this head removable?

A: Yes the HD2A Pan and Tilt Head is removable.

Q: 8. What is the height of the tripod without the center column extended? Will it support a 7d2 with a Sigma 150-600 when extended and not have vibrations or movement?

A: Max Height without Center Column 53.3" , and it will support 7D2 with Sigma 150-600mm

Q: 9. what is the difference between the Benro TAD27A and the TAD28A?

A: The difference is in the sections. TAD27A is 3 sections and TAD28A is 4 sections. Having more sections allows the TAD28A to fold smaller to 20.7 inches so it is easier to carry. TAD28A is 2.4 inches smaller in the maximum height though. Some photographers feel that having more sections does not stabilize the tripod as well in a long exposure with wind for example.

Q: 10. would these legs be good pair with the Manfrotto XPRO Magnesium Ball Head with 200PL-14 Plate(model MHXPRO-BHQ2) ?

A: Yes a Manfrotto MHX-PRO-BHQ2 would be suitable for these Benro legs.
