A: Grids are manufacturer specific as the shapes, mounting and measurements are not standardized.
Q: 6. Would this work with my flash?
A: If by flash you mean speedlight, then it technically could work if you can find the right adaptor for it, but it probably wouldn't have enough power to make it work. I would recommend just getting a monolight or other strobe unit in order to use softboxes like this.
