A: Yes, however note that it would not be compatible with the radio transmissions form the 600EX RT. The 600EX RT flash in this instance would need to be set to be used as an optical/Infrared transmitter in order to trigger this flash wirelessly.

A: Yes it does. I don' use it myself, but I just checked. It will fit on my tripod that I bought from Wall-Mart.

Q: 10. This does TTL of camera with good exposures without optical slave? I have heard issues that's why I ask.

A: I use this flash unit on manual (along with the digital camera) and cut the intensity with the down arrow. It works absolutely perfectly and beautifully. Couldn't be happier!
