Monitor your videos and compose your shots with the GyroVu Lightweight 4K 5" On-Camera HDMI Monitor, which includes a 360° swivel mount for DJI Ronin-S gimbal stabilizers. Using an 8-bit 1920 x 1080 IPS LCD panel with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400 cd/m² brightness, and a 170° viewing angle, focusing by eye is possible, and critical focus can be achieved using the pixel zoom function. The HDMI input accepts DCI and UHD 4K resolutions, allowing the camera provide a sharp image to use for framing. Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Hello, it is fully compatible with nikon D750?

A: You will be able to balance and shoot with the Nikon D750 on the Ronin-S. DJI has not yet developed a cable for control over that camera, however you still will be able to use it.

Q: 2. Just to be sure, will this work with the 7/8 post on a Glide Gear DNA 6000 arm and vest?

A: GryroVu lists this on their website as working with 7/8 posts. See here for further information. http://bit.ly/2qsX7e8

Q: 3. Will this work with the DJI Ronin-M?

A: The GyroVu uses 25mm bars and so does the DJI Ronin-M so we do not see why this would not work. Just know this has not be tested. Here are two other GyroVu mounts you might consider.

Q: 4. Work with Ronin-MX ?

A: It works, but the screws are just a little too short(could only get 2 screws in). I had to file off some of the plastic to get all 4 screws to go in far enough to thread in. I use it on the Ronin-M with a 7inch monitor and have no issues.

Q: 5. Is camera control available for the Nikon D780?

A: We're afraid not. The D780 is not on DJI's list of compatible cameras for control.

Q: 6. Can this be powered by d tap - and if so, how?

A: Yes, a D-tap cable could provide power from a power source to this monitor. You will need to use connect a D-tap to Sony L series cable, or a D-tap to LP-E6 cable. There is also a barrel input that could connect a D-tap source to this port.

Q: 7. Will pull-focus be available for sony a7 in the future?

A: We are not aware of any plans for the follow focus feature to work with Sony A7 in the future. However DJI will be releasing a focus motor for the Ronin-S, once that is release you will be able to pull focus with lenses on a Sony A7 camera.

Q: 8. There are a few options for robin-s. What would be the minimal kit required to work with 5D Mark II with Zeiss Makro-Planar 50mm?

A: For use with the Ronin S and a 5D Mark II with Manual Zeiss lens, we would recommend the DJI Ronin-S/SC Focus (SKU: WheelDJCPRN000801) and the DJI Ronin-S Focus Motor (SKU: DJFOCUSP17). bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1444752-REG/dji_cp_rn_00000008_01_ronin_s_focus_wheel.html https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1447211-REG/dji_cp_rn_00000022_01_ronin_s_part_17_focus.html

Q: 9. is it ok to leave a camera attached when not in use or is it bad for the motors/frame?

A: I dont have concrete evidence to a yes or no answer, but when I am using it and set it down or take a break, I leave the camera on with the motors off, but if the gimbal is no longer in use for a longer period of time, id then obviously take te camera off.

Q: 10. it has a focus peaking to work with sony a7s ii ?

A: This monitor does not list focus peaking. It does have pixel zoom function.
