Built for intermediate and seasoned players, the Casio CT-X5000 packs a wide variety of studio-quality sounds, an advanced feature set for composing, arranging, and performing, and a monster 30W sound system into a compact and rugged portable keyboard.

The CT-X5000 features 61 touch-sensitive, full-size keys that give you expressive, dynamic control over your melodic runs, whether you're playing loud or soft. The sound engine employs the company's AiX Sound Source technology to accurately reproduce every nuance of more than 800 acoustic and synthesized instrument sounds—and of course a gorgeous grand piano. With 100 DSP effects onboard including amp models, EQ, delay, reverb, and other classic effects, you can create new sounds and save 100 of your own.

With 235 built-in auto-accompaniment rhythms, you always have a band ready to jam. The variety of rhythms spans the globe, from old favorites to contemporary electronic music. Each rhythm includes four variations and can be edited to suit your needs. When songwriting, you can quickly capture your inspiration with the 17-track recorder, then sculpt your tracks with quantization and other editing tools. Four phrase pads allow you to record up to 100 musical phrases, drum patterns, bass lines, or other patterns, and recall them instantly while playing.

Other features include a 1/4" microphone input with gain control for vocals and a 3.5mm aux input to connect your phone/tablet and play along with your favorite songs. Two 1/4" line outputs are provided for L/R connectivity to a mixer or PA system. Above the pitch-bend wheel there is a modulation button to control vibrato, rotary-speaker speed, or just about anything else for a seamless and dynamic performance. There are also assignable expression pedal inputs allowing for external creative control of various parameters.

USB MIDI enables the keyboard to control other instruments or connect to your computer, giving you more advanced editing options for your rhythms and sounds. There is also a separate USB device port that can be used to connect a flash drive and play audio files or save your custom sounds, Rhythms, and songs. The CT-X5000 is powered via the included AC adapter only (no battery power available).

Play a grand piano and hear a meticulously recorded 9' grand in a virtual concert hall. Play an electric piano, and hear vintage phasers and amplifier models that take you back in time. Play a flute, trumpet, or saxophone, and hear natural breath and vibrato. Play a bass, and hear switching techniques based on how hard you press the keys.

The drum kits come alive with authentic acoustic drums, vintage drum machine sounds, and a huge collection of percussion instruments and sound effects. Play a synth, add an arpeggiator and drum part, and create EDM. Use the category select buttons to explore the 800 sounds, and edit parameters like attack, release, filter cutoff, and resonance.

The 15W+15W high-output amplifier and bass-reflex speakers deliver monstrous power, in or outdoors. The speaker system is protected by tough metal grills and packs more than enough power to play a small venue without an external amplifier.

The CT-X5000 offers 100 powerful and editable DSP effects including phasers, flangers, rotary-speaker simulation, dynamics processing, and much more. These effects can be extensively modified, so you can dial in the perfect sound. There are also 20 delays, 16 choruses, and 32 reverbs that can be applied to the mix.

Once you've set up the CT-X5000 with your choice of sounds, rhythms and other settings, you can save the settings as a Registration for instant recall right when you need it. There are eight convenient Registration buttons with 16 banks, giving you a total of 128 Registrations that can be quickly selected during your performance

The 17-track MIDI recorder lets you record up to 10 original songs with step recording and editing functions. The multichannel mixer with optimal mix-down capabilities enables you fine-tune your compositions and performances.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will the short center column fir ct3441 fit this tripod? Or it comes with its own.

A: Unfortunately, we do not have a short column for the CT-3332 - sorry about that!

Q: 2. I see Feisol has several screw in leg spikes but not screw in rubber feet. Will any of the Oben, Gitzo, Induro, Benbro or Giottos rubber feet screw into this tipod? I want screw in feet and not some slip over easily lost tripod leg foot.

A: No the feet will not fit. The thread on the Feisol is 5/8 and most other feet are or 3/8.

Q: 3. I'm looking for a tripod to use for VR use with an Kandao Obsidian. How high can this center column extend without making a large footprint- or do you have a different model that would be more appropriate for VR use?

A: When fully extended this tripod is about 54" tall. Preferably for VR shooting you want the camera to be about eye level so it is capturing the right perspective. So if you want the vantage point (eye level view) to be from roughly 54", this would be perfect, if not I would look for a taller tripod.

Q: 4. Oops - please make that will this tripod work with the RRS BH-55 ball head?

A: Yes it will, Frank - I am not sure if the legs will fold over the head, though (because of the position of the BH-55's knobs.

Q: 5. Does this have a hook on the bottom of the center column?

A: The FEISOL CT-3441S Traveler Rapid Carbon Fiber Tripod, B&H # FECT3441S, does not have a hook on the bottom of the center column. However, you could instead use the FEISOL CC-2807 Short Center Column, B&H # FECC2807, which has a hook.

Q: 6. Can the Feisol tripod legs be set in intermediate positions and have the same strength as when they are fully extended? Thanks

A: Yes.

Q: 7. Will the legs reverse over an Acratech GP-s ballhead? https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/726658-REG/Acratech_1156_GP_s_Ballhead.html

A: Most likely, the CT-3442 legs will not reverse over the Acratech head, unfortunately, because of its asymmetrical shape and knob configuration.

Q: 8. The feisol 3472 is very light-weight compared to other similar tripods. Does that make it more fragile? I need a tripod sturdy enough for a canon 1dx with a 600 mm lens and a gimbal.

A: Carbon is not particularly fragile - more and more airplanes are made of fundamentally the same material ... For supporting the 600 mm lens, we recommend the CT-3372, which is the CT-3472's three leg-section sibling (the 3472 has four leg sections). Having fewer joints on the legs makes the CT-3372 even more stable. In fact, it is rock-solid with no vibrations whatsoever. The same is true for the CT-3472 up to 500 mm lenses.

Q: 9. Will this work with the GH5?

A: Yes.

Q: 10. will this support a Wimberley head and a Nikon 600 mm f4 lens?

A: I bought this tripod to replace my Gitzo 1325. It is as solid as the Gitzo 1325.. I use a Cannon 300 f28 on a Wimberly sidekick on it. I don't have experience with a 600 on a full Wimberly, but it is my expectation that it is up to the task.
