Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this mean that the Nucleus-M motor will have 2 cables connected? A 7-pin to d-tap for power, and a 7-pin to usb-c for r/s?

A: Yes, the motor would need to be powered via a separate cable when using the Tilta Nucleus-M Run/Stop Cable with USB-C (27") connected to a camera.

Q: 2. Can this be plugged into the same usb c port on the Ronin RS3 to power a nucleus M motor instead of the DJI focus motor?

A: No, it cannot power the motor via USB. It is designed to connect to the Nucleus M motor via the LEMO connector.

Q: 3. Will this work with a set-up using a Samsung T-5 external SSD plugged into the camera?

Q: 10. Just checking the regulated output of this cable? Thanks very much

A: The Tilta Nucleus-M Run/Stop Cable with USB-C (27") is a Run/Start signal cable and is not meant for power thus the regulated output is moot.

I've been using velcro for most of my cables through the years. While they're quick and stay with the cable, they do make the cables a bit more annoying to tie together as well as get in the way occasionally.

These ties are a much better solution. They also don't collect random dust/dirt from being on set. Should have picked them up years ago!

They do exactly what they suppose to do. Keeping things together.
I need to order another package...

I got tired of all my loose cables in my equipment bags and where I did have cables tied up, I was using twist ties, which were easy to misplace. These provide a great solution to help clean up my cable mess. They are quick to put on and take off. Having a variety of sizes in the package is also helpful. The red color makes it easier to find these in my bag once I've taken it off.

Something so simple, elegant, well engineered, and so practical! This is my third batch of Think Tank Red Whips. I've given some away & my family & friends will ask What are these for? My reply - Let your imagination run wild & you find these indispensable. For example, w/all of the different power/sync/charging cable combinations, I have a collection said cables that I use regularly. To control the potential tangled mess, I simply coil the cable not in use & cinch a Red Whip to keep the cable coil tidy. I also have found the Think Tank Red Whips handy for securing an unused lens hood to my tote bag handle yet very accessible when needed. I also use the Red Whips in conjunction w/self-sticking wraps to secure & protect my monopod, long arca swiss plate & carbon tripod center rod extension. When I'm in the field, I will put 2 or 3 of the Red Whips around my wrist just in case I need them in a pinch! Price? Don't settle for less - w/out a doubt these are well designed, engineered & manufactured. Thanks Think Tank for your superb products & thanks B&H Photo for your super service!

Such a simple product but a great idea. Normal stretch wraps can be too loose with one wrap and then too tight with two wraps, etc. These are just as snug as you like. So easy.
