Designed for 13" and smaller tablets, the mStand Tablet Stand from Rain Design is made of anodized aluminum and can hold an iPad or similar tablet in either portrait or landscape mode. A circular opening in the back of this silver stand keeps your tablet's charging cable out of the way, while the stand's acoustic base channels sound from an iPad's down-firing speaker. Designed to hold your tablet at a comfortable viewing angle, the mStand is compatible with the Apple Smart Cover and Case, as well as other tablet cases up to 0.47" thick.

I use this for my Macbook Pro. I actually find it cools it better than having the laptop on a fan. It's also much more comfortable to work with the computer at eye level. I use an external mouse and keyboard, but the trackpad is still easy to reach for scrolling or swiping. It doesn't bend, the metal is about a quarter inch. The front lip is about 3 inches from the table. I would recommend this to anyone with a laptop, especially with Apple laptops. The aluminum tone is identical to that of the Macbook Pro. 5

What can one say about a stand? :) This is a very strong item, that fits my Mac pro 15. The keyboard and mouse go under, and everything is just perfect. No need to buy rotating stand. Fantastic! 5

As I work editing videos on my macbook pro at desk level, I have feeling back pain. With this stand, my macbook pro stays just at my eye level, hope I get a better posture now. The product is one solid well constructed piece, I recommend it for all those who spend many hours using laptops. The only downside is that I have to hold my macbook pro retina 15 with both hands when I'm opening it to use. 5

This stand is perfect for my 15 late 2013 retina macbook pro. The solid aluminum stand acts to dissipate heat well and I have my Thunderbolt 2 Dock underneath it with all cables put through the cable hole. 5

I can finally use my laptop as a legitimate second screen at my desk. It elevates the screen to just the right height. I love the space underneath to push away keyboard/mouse when i need the desk space for something. 5

I was hesitant to spend this much on a stand for my 15 MacbookPro, but I was concerned about the heat generated when editing videos, and this stand acts as a heat sink. I also wanted to get my laptop up off the desk before I spilled something on it. The 1/8 thick anodized aluminum matches the Mac, and the overall quality, design and function looks like an Apple product. The height coincides perfectly with my 27 NEC monitor for a seamless 2-monitor work station. 5
