It outputs up to 40W per channel at 8 ohms and features a bridgeable design if you prefer additional power. The AMP has four trigger inputs and outputs for interfacing with your control system and can be installed on a tabletop or in your rack, occupying just 1 RU of space. With Euroblock-type speaker terminals and a removable power cord, the XDA-AMP5400RK was designed with custom installation in mind. Rack ears, jumper plugs, and jumper cables are included to help facilitate out-of-the-box connection.

The XDA-AMP5400RK was designed as a companion to the XDA-QS5400RK to provide additional speaker coverage and/or additional speaker output power in a custom integrated multi-room home audio system. It can also be paired with other A/V receivers that offer Zone pre-outs.

The AMP packs eight channels of amplification into a 1 RU-high enclosure, helping you optimize your rack real estate.

Feed up to four sources from pre-outs into the AMP. Its four audio I/O buses can be patched together to handle a variety of speaker/zone configurations. The AMP includes a set of jumper plugs and cables to facilitate numerous connections. The audio outs can alternatively be used to connect powered subwoofers or subwoofer amps.

Each of the four amplifier zones is also bridgeable, giving you the option to increase power output to select speakers if desired.

The AMP employs ICEpower integrated circuits to deliver eight channels of digital amplification at 50W per channel (at 8 ohms) with a 5 Hz to 40 kHz frequency response and a 108 dB signal-to-noise ratio. It is 4-ohm capable at 100W per channel and bridgeable to 200W per channel at 8 ohms.

The AMP helps eliminate ground-loop hum with its differential circuit design.

The AMP employs a balanced audio circuit design and PML capacitors to help enhance realism and expressiveness in your music.

Mount the AMP in your rack with the included ears, or remove the ears for shelf installations. The included magnetic faceplate helps discourage tampering and provides a cosmetic finish.

The AMP features Euroblock-style speaker connectors and a detachable AC cable to help simplify custom integration.

When an XDA-QS5400RK and the AMP are used together, simply wire the trigger ports together to automatically power the desired amplifier zones on and off; no additional control interface is needed. When using the AMP with other sources and your AVENTAGE receiver, audio-sensing inputs and an IR input and output provide additional control flexibility.

Q: 2. How does this work with multiple devices? An HDMI switcher? Or would I need to buy a separate receiver and output from the receiver HDMI to the HT-A9's input?

A: This has 1 HDMI input so you would need an HDMI switcher that is ARC or eARC compatible.

A: The Pyle Pro PTA62BT does not connect to bluetooth speakers. It pairs as a bluetooth output device to bluetooth input devices like smartphones and tablets. It has an amplifier inside of it that is made for powering speakers via speaker wire through the back of the receiver.

A: Yes it comes with cables but unfortunately Yamaha does not specify their length.

A: Yes but the turntable would either need to have a built in preamp or it would need to already be connected to an external preamp.

A: The satellite speakers do not come in black. Unfortunately there is no output port available for a 2nd subwoofer.
