Rig up your Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K with this Formfitting Half Cage from LanParte. The half cage design protects your camera while leaving all its vital controls on the right grip and left side easily accessible and viewable. The cage provides a top-mounted cold shoe mount and numerous 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting holes on top, side, and bottom. It secures to your camera via a 1/4"-20 thread and uses two anti-deflection pins to prevent camera wiggle.

A bubble level is integrated into the cage to help you align your camera for level horizontal shooting. The cage comes with a top handle that uses a standard NATO rail for easy attachment and detachment. Integrated into the handle is a 15mm rod clamp for mounting the included 7.9"-long rod. Also included is a dedicated clamp for mounting a separately available Samsung T5 SSD on the cage.

A: That is the bit rate for 30 FPS. Sorry for any confusion. You can check the manual for more detailed information. The bit rate also varies wit image content.

Q: 3. Has anyone balanced a 6K on an RS2 with this half cage?

Q: 4. The Camera will work with a Canon LPE6 dummy attached to a Vmount Battery?

A: Yes it will as long as the voltage is between 6.2 and 10 Volts.

Q: 5. Will there be an adapter to allow using PL mount lenses on the BMPCC4K?

A: The BMD Pocket 4K has a MFT sensor and MFT lens mount so all MFT lenses and MFT adapters will fit. See the following link of the three adapters B&H sells that will put PL lenses on the BMD Pocket 4K. Do know the Metabones 0.71 Speedbooster will only take Arri CP PL mount lenses.

Q: 6. Can you still use this with the battery grip?

A: Unfortunately it cannot. This cage is designed to hold the camera only, it will not work with the battery grip installed as well.

A: The Canon LP-E6N Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.2V, 1865mAh), B&H # CALPE6N, is the best LP-E6 battery available. LP-E6 batteries however are just not high capacity options.
