Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. If I buy 2 can I use 4 mics on one receiver?

A: No, unfortunately the maximum is two transmitter per receiver. You can easily get an inexpensive mixer like the incredibly tiny Saramonic AX1 for $25, and mix both receivers into one input with ease.

Q: 2. Can I avoid using the GoPro Pro 3.5mm Mic Adapter and plug the Saramonic receiver directly to my GoPro Media Mod 9/10/11?

A: Yes, you can connect the Saramonic Blink 500 B1 Digital Camera-Mount Wireless System directly to the GoPro Media Mod instead of using the GoPro Pro 3.5mm Mic Adapter.

Q: 3. Can you purchase xlr cables over a phono jack?

A: For the output you can easily convert the 3.5mm to XLR with an inexpensive XLR adapter, like the Saramonic C-XLR. Or if you'd like a cable you can use the Saramonic SR-UM10-C35XLR, it has a locking 3.5 mm connector but that will not impede you using it with the SR-WM2100 receiver. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1540721-REG/saramonic_c_xlr_3_5mm_trs_female_to_xlr_male.html https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1443722-REG/saramonic_sr_um10_c35xlr_replacement_locking_type_3_5mm_to.html

Q: 4. So, what happens when someone uses a microwave oven around these? That usually wipes out 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi when it's running, and these are on the same frequency.

A: It is possible for a microwave oven in very close proximity to create interference such as static noise in the audio signal of wireless microphone systems that operate within the 2.4 GHz frequency band, but unlikely that a microwave oven will completely wipe out the audio signal. The same issues can occur with cell phones, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. If you find that microwave ovens are interfering with the transmission of your wireless microphone signal, then it would be best to select a system that operates within a different frequency band such as UHF or VHF.

Q: 5. Will this do audio line levels and microphone levels?

A: The transmitter input is Mic level, while the receivers output is Line level.

Q: 6. TRRS adapter?

A: This may or may not work with a TRRS adapter depending upon the connected devices.

Q: 7. How is this product different from Saramonic SmartMic ?

A: So the Rode Smartlav is a TRRS lavalier mic the can be attached to a shirt or a blouse designed for a smartphones but can easily be converted to work with dslr or camcorder via a trrs to trs adapter as well. And the Saramonic SR-XM1 is a omni mic designed to be attached directly to a consumer camcorder or dslr giving you a further away sound vs Smartlav , so Smartlav to be woren on clothing giving you better sound vs Saramonic to be attached to a camera giving you far away sound . Hope this helps

Q: 8. I have an iPhone 15 pro max which requires a usb-c connector, which adapter do I need to purchase for the receiver?

A: The Saramonic SR-WM2100 2-Person Camera-Mount Digital Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System for Cameras and Smartphones (2.4 GHz) can be connected to an iPhone 15 using a 3.5mm to USB-C adapter such as B&H # APMU7E2AMA.

Q: 10. Would this mic work with a computer - like a MacBook? I need a mic for Zooming.
