The main bracket mounts onto the bottom of the DigiCase using six included screws, and the included easy release plate allows you to mount the case on grip equipment with 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 threads, on a fluid head with an Arca-type receiver, or it can accept the optional DigiBase baby pin adapter for mounting onto a C-stand or baby pin mount.

The top is a tighter fit which is great because it cannot fall out as easily when you open it. and the bottom is a thicker and I would say softer foam which I also like as it seems more protective to me than the pick-n-pluck.
