The LED204 On-Camera LED Video Light from YELANGU provides dimmable, bicolor LED light in a lightweight on-camera form. The output is adjustable from 3200 to 5500K, and a brightness knob provides 5 to 100% stepless dimming. Power is supplied by a separately available L-series battery or 9-12 VDC adapter.

When a greater light output is needed, you can stack the LED204 vertically and/or horizontally with additional units. Suitable for use with most mirrorless cameras, DSLRs, and small camcorders, this compact unit can be mounted using the included cold shoe tilt bracket.

A: The light is great for the money you pay, I removed the barn doors and nothings happen, no damage easy to removes.

A: All I can say is that we have not had any flicker issues shooting with Panasonic HPX300 video cameras using standard shutter settings.

Q: 4. Can I use higher capacity Sony NP-F type batteries like those from Watson? Also, will I be able to charge said Watson brand batteries with the included VidPro charger?

A: if you will use it in a light stand like ido is perfect. But in hand held on camera setting will be heavier.

A: Yes, the shoe is metal.

Q: 6. How bright is it

A: It is great a on camera light. It weighs very little It will light a subject well from 10' or more. The barn doors are well made. It will not light a whole room. If I don't get a perfect white balance I can easily fix it in FCPX or Premiere. I also use tinted white cards if I have time and my WB doesn't look right.

Q: 7. This kit came with a diffuser insert. Does B&H sell other inserts? I'd like to cut the light output a bit more even at 10%

A: I actually have cut some diffusion material like 216 to size to help reduce the amount of output.

Q: 8. Is the adjustable hotshot mount removable from the LED unit?

A: Yes, it's attached with a screw. Normally, you loosen the screw to tilt the light. But if you remove the shoe mount you'll end up with a plastic post that's part of the light housing and slides into the shoe mount. The screw passes through the shoe mount and this post to hold the shoe mount to the light housing.

Q: 9. On a full charge how long does the battery last???

A: The YELANGU LED204 On-Camera LED Video Light does not include a battery. The amount of time the battery lasts for is dependent on the brand and usage.

Q: 10. I've just received this LED light and I charged the battery but it's not working with battery .it's only working with adapter. What is the problem ? the battery or battery connector on the LED ?

A: I have had one similar experience with this and it was my error with not getting the battery seated correctly in the light housing. It is a little different than my other equipment with how this slides in. I have 3 of these and I haven't had any other issues.However, I have full confidence in B&H customer service to make this right if your not able to get it to work! Sorry its being difficult :(
