They all share the same mount housing. Necessary for Larger soft boxes. I use it to mount the BRX 500 to the Impact 39 Oct. Deep Soft box. Beautiful light.

Great little speedring for my Profoto system. Fits with a whole variety of softboxes and rotates freely when needed. Clasping the speedring around the Profoto head can be difficult, but not too hard if you have some finger strength. 5

Great piece of gear for any pro and semi-pro photographer and works great with all RFi soft boxes. Initially a bit costly but worth the money for anyone in the industry. And Profoto holds its value if you decide to re-sell. 5

Solid build, lots of metal; this thing is built to last. Notably heavier and more robust than the OCF Speedring. I use this with a Profoto 5' Octa on a Profoto B1 head. It's a solid combination. 5

As everyone has said, this speedring is necessary to attach any modifiers (of the Prophoto persuasion) to your B1 location kit. It has a study construction but the materials response to your direction with ease. For example, closing the latch doesn't involve wrestling the entire light. I'm satisfied with the performance and will continue to use Prophoto. 5
