This battery adapter features a compact form and conveniently attaches to your rig via a single 15mm rod clamp positioned on the side, and it connects to the camera using a dummy LP-E6 battery attached on the integrated 18" cable.

The Quad Grid offers four battery bays supporting LP-E6 batteries of all capacities. Only one battery is required to be attached at a time, so you get maximum hot-swapping capability. An LED indicator remains lit as long as sufficient power is available.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. would this work for Blackmagic cinema pocket camera?

A: The IndiPRO Tools POWER POD produces 7.2 VDC while the BM Pocket Camera requires 12-20 VDC. So this power solution is not correct.I would suggest the Switronix PocketBase and the Quick release as the best solution at this time.

Q: 2. Is the Power Grid System compatible with the 5DM3?

A: Hi. I've only used with the BMPCC. I supose that if the plug it's the same (12 V (CC) ) It should work with it too.

Q: 3. can you power an external monitor with this as well as a bmpcc simultaneously?

A: No, it does not have a D tap or any other sort of DC out other than the plug for the Pocket Camera. Also, the power demands of the camera itself would make doing this impractical.

Q: 4. Does it come with charging chords?

A: The IndiPRO Tools POWER POD Quad LP-E6 Universal Power System (14.4V) does not include cables.

Q: 5. If only one DC out is used for the dummy battery into the camera, can all 4 batteries' power be directed to the one DC out? Or can only two batteries go to one DC out?

A: As it seems all 4 batteries goes to both the DC out. I have tried with 1, 2, 3 or 4 batteries when it was connected to my Sony camera, I can swap any of them without loosing power so all 4 must go to both the DC out at the same time.

Q: 6. this rig works with black magic cinema camera 4k ? (Not the pocket)

A: This rig is made for the Pocket camera only.

Q: 7. I've used this for the last few weeks with the black magic production camera but suddenly the camera is not recognizing power output. going off its own power. I've tried using different 2.5mm cables but the camera will no longer recognize it is there a particular 2.5mm power cable I should be using or will any 2.5mm suffice?

A: We contacted IndiPro regarding your issue and they said it may be the cable, it may be the camera. In order that your issue be resolved as expeditiously as possible, I suggest contacting IndiPro directly. 516-303-4465a href= http://www.indiproco.com target= _blank www.indiproco.com/a

Q: 8. Can this be used with 2.5mm indie pro tools sony a7s dummy battery regulated cable even though its 14.4 Volts?

A: Yes, you can use the IndiPRO Tools 69SA7 2.5mm to Sony a7s Dummy Battery Cable (24 , Regulated) cable with this POWER POD. The key word is regulated. This means the cable changes the current from 14.4 volts down to the cameras 7.2 volts operating current.

Q: 9. Does this work with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K? As it also uses LP-E6 batteries... Thanks.

A: Yes, this product should work with the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. The Pocket Cinema Camera 4K is powered by LP-E6 batteries, which is the kind of dummy connection this offers.

Q: 10. how long does it power Bmpcc?

A: With two fresh batteries, you should get about 4-5 hours of run time.

I have one of the early Canon 6D models, and have been using the camera for some time-lapse photography. My problem has always been that the single battery runs out before I get all of the frames I want to capture. This has solved the problem.

When I am operating near an AC power outlet, it plugs right in. When I am away from AC power I can plug this into an inverter in my car.

Battery life on my A7s is poor, so I needed better battery life for portable work - this unit fits the bill. Its light, and allows me to use my collection of Canon batteries, for 4x+ recording time. Connects to my A7s cage, is light, and easy to use.

This power supply works well with my Canon 6D for studio shooting all day long without worrying about batteries. It should work with any Canon camera that takes a LP-E6 battery. Quality wise, it seems a little light weight, but works great for the price.

I bought this to use my 80D as a webcam for the Year of Zoom. Works perfectly and no worry about a battery draining while on a call.

Works as described and gives me total peace that battery life will not mess up or delay the shoot. Batteries are also left ready and charged for when I need to go in the field. Thank you.

Small HD finally started selling their own AC adapter for their monitors, but they are way too expensive. This one works perfectly with my 702 monitor. Look no further. This is the one you need.
