A: The dust cover is not hinged. it is placed over the tonearm manually.

Q: 4. Is the start feature of this turntable full mechanical? As in, can I press the button while it is off... and once it is turned on queues up?

A: THis unit does not have a power switch. Pressing the start button initiates moving the tone arm onto the record,playing the record returning the arm to the arm rest.

A: The DP-300F comes with a MM (Moving Magnet) cartridge. The cartridge and the stylus (DSN-85) are made exclusively for DENON.

A: Each device requires one 3.5 mm male to 3.5 mm male stereo audio cable. Be sure the one connecting to the computer is long enough to reach from the sound card headphone jack to the location of the switch.

Q: 10. Is there noise/interference with two sources connected?

A: The Sescom A/B switch is passive and does not use any batteries or power to function. There should not be any noise or interference when two sources are connected.
