Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I use two bodypacks and two wireless mics simultaneously on the BLX88 H10?

A: No, the Shure BLX88 Dual-Channel Tabletop Wireless Receiver (H10: 542 to 572 MHz) can only be used with two transmitters at the same time. The Shure BLX1 Wireless Bodypack Transmitter (H10: 542 to 572 MHz) and the Shure BLX2/SM58 Handheld Wireless Microphone Transmitter with SM58 Capsule (H10: 542 to 572 MHz) are both compatible transmitters, so you can use any combination of two.

Q: 2. Can multiple receivers be used simultaneously to get the same signal?

A: Yes. An unlimited number of bodypack receivers can tune in to the transmission of one transmitter provided all units are of the same frequency band.

Q: 3. Can I feed one program line into this and a second one for cueing, etc?

A: Yes, the Shure P3T Wireless Transmitter for PSM300 allows for two channels of audio input as well as the ability to create a personal mix on each bodypack with adjustable stereo balance or MixMode® two-channel mono blend.

Q: 4. Can I use two bodypack with the same frequency (H10: 542 to 572 MHz) simultaneously on the BLX88 H10?

A: Two Shure BLX1-H10 Wireless Bodypack Transmitters can be used simultaneously with the Shure BLX88-H10 Dual-Channel Tabletop Wireless Receiver. Each channel on the receiver will automatically tune to a different frequency within the H10 frequency band (542 to 572 MHz) so both transmitters can be used at the same time.

Q: 5. is this operating frequency range a problem for the future FCC 600 MHz regulation?

A: Because this microphone is using mainly frequencies below the 600MHz band you should have no problems using this microphone.

Q: 6. Do these support encryption from Axient or ULX-D transmitters?

A: No, the Shure P3RA Wireless Bodypack Receiver for PSM300 System is designed for use with the Shure P3T Transmitter. It will not receive audio or encryption from the Shure Axient or ULX-D series transmitters.

Q: 7. Can you use a sharkfin antenna to increase the range of the transmitter if you needed a distance further than 300ft?

A: Adding a PA805SWB antenna will achieve abut 300', line of sight. It is possible, in ideal conditions to achieve over 300'. To insure 300+ feet, the PSM 900 offers higher power transmitter. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1442222-REG/shure_p9trap425cl_g6_psm900_personal_monitor_system_rackmount.html https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/584718-REG/Shure_PA805SWB_PA805SWB_Directional_Antenna_for.html/specs

Q: 8. what purpose is the power input and power output?

A: The PA411 not only distributes the RF from the antenna but also power to additional PSM transmitters. It will cut down on the amount of power suppiles needed in the rack.

Q: 9. I am not sure if the H numbers strictly refer to the frequency range. Are any of these compatible with Shure PG88 Wireless Microphone Mic Receiver H7 536-548 ?

A: The use of "H9" in reference to the Shure BLX1 Wireless Bodypack Transmitter (H9: 512 to 542 MHz) does indeed refer to the specified frequency range this transmitter operates on. The Shure PG88 receiver is from a discontinued product line and compatible transmitters do not appear to be available any longer unfortunately. Please contact our Pro Audio team via phone, chat, email, or in-store for assistance in choosing a new system.

Q: 10. Is the Shure P3T transmitter included? It's not listed in In The Box

A: Yes, the P3T is included. Its omission from the In the box list is an error on the listing.

I have 4 of these capable of delivering 4 stereo mixes or 8 mono mixes. They are well built and work exactly as they should. There are more affordable options hitting the market now, but based on my experience these are a solid value for any band wanting more control over their monitoring experience and wishing to eliminate wedges.

This is my first in ear monitor set up. As a drummer in a hard rock band, I highly recommend getting rid of the wedge monitor and going in ears all the way. This wired pack works perfectly right out of the box. I had it ready in just a few minutes. It sounds great, the AA batteries are still going after one 3 hour practice and a 3 hour live set.
