I've owned quite a few digital cameras over the years, some were cheaper and others were north of $3K, yet I am blown away by this $1,300 mirrorless miracle from Fuji.

At the time of purchase I was comparing it against Sony's latest 7R. A friend of mine let me borrow the Sony for a day and while I loved the image quality, I wasn't impressed with the ergonomics and the weight and bulk of Sony's system with mounted lens. Another huge disadvantage of Sony was huuuuge files, full of annoying megapixels. I don't print human-sized posters and there was no way to have down-sampled RAW...

X-T3 is a completely different animal. First of all, it almost completely removes user's dependency on software menus. All camera manufacturers employ terrible UX designers, so at least Fuji allows you to bypass the software mess and simply use physical dials for everything. Thank you.

Another huge difference is that Fuji is incredibly compact when paired with Fuji lenses. They're almost always within 180-220g and it makes a huge difference. I have switched from a neck strap to a wrist strap which allows me to walk around with this dSLR handing on my wrist all day. Portability is everything. You end up taking your camera everywhere and taking more pictures.

Finally, the image quality. One word: it's superb! 26MP is more than enough for (almost) everybody even if you're cropping. The dynamic range is great, I regularly recover giant amounts of detail in both shadows and highlights. ISO6400 is perfectly usable and not just for Instagram. But the most amazing part is Fuji colors. I shoot RAW and RAW files from Fuji are by far the easiest to work with: usually they require very little editing, mostly because the automatic white balance and colors are so great.

Make sure to download Capture One Express for Fuji. It's free and it's amazing. Stop paying rent to Adobe. Renting software is bad for you.

It took me a while to figure out this Fuji. I have had canons and Nikons before. There arent any shooting modes. Youve got the ISO wheel where you can choose your number or put it on auto. Theres a lock button on it too. Then you have a shutter speed wheel with an auto option. Then you have the aperture ring on the lens with an auto function. Its all manual if you want it to be manual. The settings under the top left wheel are single shot, low speed continuous shooting, high speed continuous shooting, bracketing, and double exposure. There may be another mode or two, but those are the main ones. No portrait mode or sports mode or macro mode like my canon has. If youre running in manual or those mostly manual modes like aperture priority or shutter speed priority then this is a great choice.

The build quality is great. The ergonomics are pretty good (Im 64 245lbs and this camera is small, but not too small.) and its upgradable for big hands. Image quality is great. 2 card slots running UHS-2 cards is a big step up from my old canon. I shoot sports so 20 frames per second with continuous subject tracking and auto focus is blazingly fast. Adobe updated their software to have better results when reading files from this new sensor type. Ther work well in photoshop. However, I noticed white peoples skin turns red when I increase color saturation. I fixed that with the white balance. No big deal, I just think their color science is a little behind canon. Its good in most scenarios, just not perfect when compared to Canons pro lineup.

And Fujis 18-55mm lens isnt cheap junk. I was surprised to find its a good useable short range lens. Other peoples 18-55mm is cheap junk. The 18-55mm has good sharpness, colors, contrast and bokeh. I still plan on getting that 17-55mm F2.8 weather resistant lens as my pro grade upgrade.

If youre switching to Fuji, read those adapter descriptions carefully. All Fuji lenses have an aperture ring. None of my canon lens do.

Owner of X-H1 and was hesitant to get this, so late in the game, since the X-T4 is coming soon... but I'm so glad I did.

My interest in Fuji started with the X100 series several years back. The X100 series reminded me of my beloved Ricoh XR-P 35mm film camera with it's 35-70mm F3.5 zoom. Later,I began to see the specs and capabilities of the X-T3. For my travels this compact seemed to be the sweet spot with it's smaller form factor, image quality, zoom lens, plus video capability. I purchased the silver X-T3 kit with the 16-80mm F4 zoom with OIS. This combination is just perfect for travel. The camera is very well built. The image quality of the RAW files is very good. The film simulations are amazing as well. I love the Acros and Monochrome film simulations. The Velvia brings back memories of the original Fuji Velvia film. The smaller ergonomics and menu/button functions took some getting used to. The menu system is like something from 2010. (It is not my Nikon D-850.) That being said, a month later we are good to go! The 16-80 lens is sharp and amazingly well built. The OIS for video is amazing if you are standing still. You do see some movement walking, but if you walk smoothly you may not object to it. This was am amazing purchase and am happy with the purchase. As usual, B&H service was amazing, hats off to them!

I started with the Fuji X system when the X100 was released. After all of the improvements, bug fixes, and iterations I am really pleased with the X-T3. The controls are laid out very well for anyone who prefers dials to digging into menus. The AF is great and should only get better with the announced firmware update. I have used some other lenses with adapters, but the XF lens lineup is great. Although bigger than the X-E3 and X-T30, I felt that I had to add a grip/bracket to make handling it easier with my big hands. A thumb grip and soft release button help a little as well.

This is a remarkable camera. It is a joy to use, as it is easy in its function. The analog dials , the mechanics of this camera, allow me to focus on photography as I like it. The results this camera gives me, especially when paired with the 16-55/ 2.8 lens, are sensational ! Bravo!

I bought this camera after reading and watching lots of reviews.  Im convinced it is the best cropped sensor camera on the market at the present time. Focusing and tracking are fast and accurate. Color science is top notch. It has returned a lot of the fun of photography to me. So many features and Fuji has some of the best glass at good prices. Im VERY pleased with this purchase.

Great camera! Fujifilm X-T3 goes with me all the time. I have been using Nikon for several years and the size and weight of this Fuji is appreciated. Big change! Do you really need a full frame? I love the silver version.
