Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. can you recommend an Induro ball head that will properly work with this? I'm buying the Induro CLT 404L tripod also.

A: I use the Arca sidekick with an induro BHL3 ballhead on a CT 404 tripod. Very sturdy combination. I would highly recommend

Q: 2. Would this bag be good for a Nikon Z50 Mirrorless? Or should I get a different bag?

A: Yes, and since the padded dividers in the middle can be repositioned (or removed, need be) you'll have some options with respect to how you want to fit it in there.

Q: 3. Would this bag work well for a Nikon ZF with a 40mm lens mounted, along with a 20mm and 85mm primes in the main compartment?

A: The Domke F-10 Medium Shoulder Bag Ruggedwear (Khaki) internal dimensions are 9 x 7 x 3". It will fit the Nikon Zf Mirrorless Camera with 40mm Lens connected. The Nikon NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.8 S Lens and the Nikon NIKKOR Z 20mm f/1.8 S Lens (Nikon Z) will also fit in the bag with their lens hood on reverse. The bag comes with two dividers, which will allow you to separate the equipment.

Q: 4. Will the Sidekick work with Benro G2 ballhead?

A: Yes, since the G2 has an Arca clamp.

Q: 5. Will this bag hold a Canon M100 camera w 55-200mm lens plus a 15-45mm lens, filters, and battery pack?

A: Depending on how you arrange them they should fit.

Q: 6. can i use the gitzo ball head with the wimberly side kick?

A: Yes they work very well together. My largest zoom lens is a Tamron 150 to 600 millimeter. There are only two small problems I've noticed. I mount everything with ARCA Swiss style mounting plate. These all have to be tighten very well. Otherwise where the sidekick bolts to the mounting plate of the ball head , and of course the ball head mounting plate is at right angles so therefore vertical. In this condition if things are not tight the sidekick can start sliding that is to say rotating where the head meets the mounting plate. If it is sufficiently tightened it's not an issue. Secondly, since this system does not have the capability to balance like a fall Wimberley head, and the fact that this lens extends as you zoom, perfect balance in any position is not possible. Although the offset weight is not hardly noticeable. I would highly recommend it! It's half the cost half the size have to wait. Less stuff in your equipment bag is always a good thing.

Q: 7. I have Nikon 200-500 with the RRS collar and foot. Does this foot fit perfectly tight on the Sidekick?

A: Yes, fully compatible.

Q: 8. Will this system work with my KIRK BH-3 ball head....and my canon 500 f4 L lens..? also what plate do I need on the lens .. a P 40 or P 50 quick release plate?

A: I have used it on a Gitzo tripod with a Canon 600mm f4 and it was fine. I would not recommend carrying this combo on the shoulder as an assembly however.

Q: 9. I have a Nikon z6ii and Nikon 500m PF. Will the sidekick work with this combo? I saw in the instructions that smaller lenses/cameras may not work

A: Yes the Nikon Z6 II equipped with the Nikon FTZ adapter and the Nikon AF-S 500mm PF lens can be used on the SK100.

Q: 10. Will this bag hold DSLR with 24-105 lens attached? Photos are limited and specs are vague.

A: Yes this can hold a DSLR with a 24-105mm lens attached.

I purchased the Domke-10 Medium Canvas Shoulder Bag in Greg and could not be more happy with it. It is the perfect size for my Sony Nex-5n and literally all of its accesories...I even had room left over. Everything in one bag is just awesome and the quality and construction of the bag can't be beat. I have been extremely happy with B&H Photo for alerting me of this special price as well as their expertise in selecting the Sony Nex-5n. I'm very happy with both and know that I will be enjoying them for years to come. Thanks you Domke and B&H!!

I ordered this bag because it didn't look quite so camera bag like and I've been very satisfied with it. It is big enough for my Canon Rebel t4i, my wallet and another lens or other camera accessories such as the battery recharger. It is soft sided but seems sturdy enough to protect my camera. I highly recommend this product.

Probably have bought enough camera bags to open a store. This is my 2nd Domke (the first being a J8). I've been looking for a bag to carry just the minimum of equipment for travel (Fuji X-S1 camera) batteries, a few filters, lens hood, data cards, passport, flash). The J8 was just too danged small and I had to resort to strapping extra pouches to the strap. It worked by not comfortably. The F-10 holds it all and more. If I had a complaint (and I do) I would take off a few points for the strap. The J8 has a removable strap that has swivels on it. A nice feature that would make the F-10 PERFECT. I did add a Domke US Post Office strap pad and it is great.Anybody want to buy a truckload of camera bags I have tried and no longer need????

This bag is well designed and well constructed. Its removable partitions are great for a small camera with a couple of lenses or a full size DSLR & lens. The front zippered pocket is great for small items, extra battery, cables, cards, writing materials and/or film. The velcro strip provides extra security. The bag is unobtrusive, roomier than it appears, is comfortable to wear over the shoulder, has a couple of welcome carrying handles, looks great and is a great value. It's become my favourite camera bag.

I bought this to carry my entire Micro 4/3 kit: GF1, kit zoom, Novoflex adapter, Maxxum 35-105 and Maxxum 50/2.8 macro. All fits easily and there is still room for the 7-14 or 9-18 that I plan to buy soon. The front pocket takes all the little stuff easily - cable release, xtra card, QR plate, spare battery, CP filter. Inside there's even enough room for my P&S Lumix FX580. I am a Domke believer since I bought my F-2 many years ago - it's still going strong but it's far too big. If you like Domke looks and appreciate their quality, this delivers.

Bought this bag for a trip to Seattle .Thought it would be to small but was surprised when it held all I needed for the trip.It holds my D90 with a Tamron 18-270 attached,a SB28 flash and a MBD80 grip (not attached),all in the main area of the bag.The front pocket has plenty of room for everything else I needed. The bag is built like a tank, very well made.Walked around with it every day, very comfortable and not to big.
