Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this transmitter mountable to a camera shoe mount? If so will the audio be sent to the camera directly? I have a Canon 7d and am looking for a mountable lavalier kit to send audio directly to my camera.

A: The receiver is designed to mount to a camera cold shoe. The transmitter is designed to be clipped to the persons belt. There are próducts to adapt the clip to mount to a cold shoe, such as: B&H product SKU # SECA2 and others; basically, you mount this holder to your shoe and then "clip " the transmitter to it!

Q: 2. Is there a way to revers the polarity on the 2 pin lemo 12 volt power output?

A: Custom wiring on products like this is really not something we can recommend. However we'd love to assist you get further information regarding this question. Please email us directly at provideo@bhphoto.com for further help.

Q: 3. Can I use 2 of these systems on one camera and have 4 separate audio channels? If I plug one receiver in XLR 1 and the second receiver in XLR 2 can I separate all 4 channels of audio for 4 people in one camera?

A: Yes, you can use two WMX-20-DUO systems at the same time on the same camera, but you would have two audio tracks, not four. Each receiver outputs one signal with the combined audio from its two mics. Also, the camera only records two audio tracks, not four. If you do need to have four separate audio tracks, it would be best to use individual wireless systems for each person and capture the audio on a multi-track recorder. The audio and video can be synced in post production.

Q: 4. Can I replace the V-lock plate with Anton Bauer?

A: We feel it is possible to do so. However, it is would be likely to void the warranty. Please contact Freefly to see if they can do the conversion for you. a href= http://freeflysystems.com/contact target= _blank http://freeflysystems.com/contact/a

Q: 5. We have a DJI Ronin and Gremsi gStabi Gimbal... I love what your doing with the MIMIC.Can I make the mimic work with either one of these gimbals?

A: At this time it is unknown if the FREEFLY MoVI Controller can work with third party gimbals. It is my opinion that in this hotly competitive market the answer would be no.

Q: 6. What is the difference between the discontinued movie controller and this movie controller ? Is this compatible with m15?

A: The only difference between the two FREEFLY MōVI Controller models is the old one used to come with the gimbal RX receiver, but that has been discontinued. All Mōvi Controllers now come with the FRX Pro in its place. There was no change in the controller itself, only the included accessories.

Q: 7. Does the 3.5mm output the two mics on two separate channels? If so, can a TRS 3.5mm to dual XLR do the same?

A: Yes, the dual-channel receiver in the Movo Photo WMX-20-DUO 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Lavalier Microphone System can separate each transmitter signal on it's stereo 3.5mm output. A 3.5mm TRS to dual XLR splitter cable would work well to split the receiver's output appropriately for connection to two XLR inputs.

Q: 8. Is there a AC powered compatible receiver that works with these mics? The batteries in the receiver just do not last.

A: No, unfortunately not. The Movo Photo WMX-20-DUO and their other wireless microphone systems are designed for use with cameras so the receivers all use batteries for power. There is no compatible receiver that uses AC power.

Q: 9. What' the sample rate?

A: The manufacturer has not included information regarding sample rate with the system's specs.

Q: 10. HI, I saw a video about the avx system and the guy said that there is interfearence with the mke-2 mic. Does this system do the same, or it makes clean audio with mke-2 lav mic?

A: According to Sennheiser, both systems, the XSW Digital as well as the AVX, are fully compatible with the MKE-2. As for the video you saw, perhaps it was an defective unit. Sennheiser even offers an AVX system that is packaged with the MKE-2
