Patterns, or gobos, are widely used by designers in theatre, film, photography and television to create atmosphere, project scenery, and generally enhance the visual impact of their lighting.

Conceived by some of the world's leading lighting designers, the Rosco range presently includes hundreds of standard steel gobo designs.

To insure design integrity the patterns are etched using a precise double-sided process on stainless steel. The result is durable, high quality patterns which will withstand the extreme heat at the gate of ellipsoidal spotlights.

Rosco steel gobos are round to allow for rotation in the gate when aligning the projected image.

The standard "B" size is suitable for most fixtures with a 6" lens when used with a Rosco Pattern Holder or the holders of other manufacturers.

Trimming of patterns, where necessary, can be easily accomplished with a pair of scissors.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. will this fit a 35mm L series?

A: Hey Jason, here's the link to the chart that Robert mentioned. If you have any more specific questions feel free to reach out to sales@a href= http://redrockmicro.com target= _blank redrockmicro.com/aa href= http://store.redrockmicro.com/How-do-I-measure-my-lens.html target= _blank http://store.redrockmicro.com/How-do-I-measure-my-lens.html/a

Q: 2. What radio triggers should I get to use these flashes with a Canon 70D (since I don't want to just use them as optical slaves)?

A: A radio trigger such as the Vello FreeWave LR Wireless Flash Trigger and Receiver Kit B&H # VERFWLR can connect to the 3.5mm sync port one of the SF-AE80 slave units. However, the additional units would still need to be triggered optically as you would only have one receiver. Please see the image for reference.

Q: 3. What's the difference between this and the AE80? Also, what do I need to make this work with the canon 60d?

A: The difference is the Impact SF-AE80 AC Flash (110-130VAC) is a stronger flash with more output power, which has a Guide Number of 80, compared to the Impact SF-AE56 AC Flash (110-130VAC), which has a Guide Number of 56. Other than the output power, the units and included items are otherwise identical. An 11-foot sync cable is included with the kit. As the Canon EOS 60D DSLR camera does not have a PC sync terminal, you would have to purchase a hot shoe to PC adapter, such as the Nisha Speed Light Foot Adapter, B&H # NISLFA. http://bhpho.to/1RJIdYn

Q: 4. Does it work for any voltage? 110 volt & 220?

A: It is a standard Edison (E26) porcelain socket, switch, and hefty wire; voltage should not matter. However, the cord is terminated with a 3-prong plug (hot/neutral/safety ground) which is standard to the US (and other countries). Obviously, you would need a (hefty) plug adapter to connect to a different form of power receptacle.

Q: 5. Are the joints made entirely of aluminum? Are there any plastic components throughout this arm?

A: The FEISOL Multi Section Column MSC-360-3 is manufactured from carbon fiber and CNC-machined Aluminum, not plastic.

Q: 6. I will probably look stupid for asking this. But I have read it and am not sure if these have a modeling light in it? Or is it just a flash?

A: These are simple slave flash bulbs. They do not have a modeling light or control for the intensity. You will have to use your F/stops to adjust the exposure or move the light.

Q: 7. Is it Okay to use Fluorescent Bulb instead of Tungsten?

A: Hello- I use both bulb types. When I am not using them for photography, I also use these lights as ambient studio lighting with lower wattage CFLs

Q: 8. does this work for the Sony handyman ?

A: I assume you mean the SONY Handycam, Fabio,; yes it can be used with the Handycam - you just need a ball head or Quick Release Clamp in between (just like with a still camera).

Q: 9. can a softbox be attached to these?

A: Unfortunately, no, you cannot attach a softbox to the Impact SF-AE80 AC Master/Slave 3 Flash Kit (110-130VAC).

Q: 10. what is the voltage required for this item? Can I have one for a 220-240V

A: Unfortunately, this slave kit does not come in a 220-240V version. To get a strobe set up for 220-240V, a monolight system would be best. One in particular to consider is the Impact Two Monolight Kit (220V) B&H # IMEX100A2LKX.
