As a long-time Canon shooter and now the owner of a Sony A7III, I was in need of a lens adapter that would allow me to continue to use my Canon L glass. I started out with a Metabones (Fifth Generation) adapter, but it was completely unacceptable as it focus hunted like crazy. I returned the Metabones adapter and then bought the Sigma MC-11. While the user experience with the Sigma adapter is not quite the same as using native Sony glass (I have the Sony 85mm f1.4 GM), it's close to it. Focus is quick and accurate. The Sigma adapter is definitely the one to own for Canon glass on a Sony A7III. 5

It works well with my Canon 85mm f1.8, 17-40mm f4L and I especially like it with my 40mm f2.8. With the 40mm pancake its still nice and compact. My only complaint is that the data port competes for space with my fingers next to the grip. If they could just move that to the bottom it would be glorious. 5

I bought this adapter( mc 11 SA adapter to sony e) just two weeks ago from this(B & H) online shop. But it is not getting mounted on with sigma 18-35mm lens. I am really upset with this unexpected situation . Please someone help me to solve this problem . I would really be grateful . Thank you. 5

I use this mount converter with my sigma 18-35 and canon 70-300. In my sony a7iii it even improve the autofocus. For sigma lenses is good to have usd dock to keep lenses updated and working better with this mount converter. 5

So it works really well, and of course not as well as with a standard E-Mount lens. In good lighting, you'll get 95%+ of your photos in focus. In low light 70%+. It does seem to perform better with video in low light as opposed to photos. 5

it does what is made for, easy to attach and remove. it was the right recommendation from sales person Sarkis B. Unfortunate part is its not full function with my sony NEX 50 MA camera auto focus don't work. 5
