The SHAPE 15mm Studio to 15mm LWS Snap-On Adapter allows you to efficiently adapt 15mm LWS accessories to 15mm Studio rods, which have a 100mm spacing. It's ideal for mounting a follow focus or other accessory onto rigs that use 15mm Studio rods. What's special about it is that it already has very short 15 LWS rods built in, so you can attach your accessories directly. The adapter has a snap-on design that tightens/loosens at the turn of a knurled thumbscrew on the side. On the other side, it offers an anti-twist 3/8"-16 accessory mount for compatible articulating arms.

A: The Tiltaing 15mm LWS Baseplate Type IV (Black) (B&H# TITABSP415B) has a non-removeable stop to prevent a dovetail plate from sliding forward and off the baseplate. That is the part with the Tilta logo on it. There is no dovetail plate yet designed to defeat that safety feature.

I use the lens anytime I want to get the fisheye effect in a photo for that little bit of extra push. The f2.8 makes it quite useful in low light situations. I would buy this product again, and I would certainly recommend it to a friend. 5

I bought two new lens with my eos7d the fisheye was for fun and experimentation in picture taking. So far the lens has been better than expected. not only can I get pictures that are eye catching but I also get pictures of quality and character. 5

The perfect lens for capturing spherical panoramas in only 8 shots. Using a full frame sensor (Canon 1Ds Mark III), I capture 6 cylindrical shots and 1 top and bottom shot to create a spherical panorama. I use a nodal ninja at 60 degree intervals and post process these shots with PTGui. These shots look great as a QTVR movie or as a high resolution Equirectangular projection. 5

Just bought 3 weeks ago, this is a must item that u should have it. The 180 angle from this lens will make ur pic style different from the other. Honestly, I used it often more than my 24-105L !!! cons: easy scratch because Canon fisheye didnt provide the lens filter, so u should beware of it. 5

I searched locally for a fisheye lens that would provide me with full breath while still providing the needed distortion on the edges of the photo. Unfortunately, local retailers don't provide me with ANY fisheye options. I searched and reviewed fisheye capabilities for my Canon Rebel XSi, and determined that this lens offered by B&H was the best priced and supported. I had several questions concerning the unique properties of the lens and the true depth of its distortion. The phone support from B&H was great. I now have a lens that provides me quality in macro shots as well as adding extreme distortion depending on the f-stop used and the distance from true angles. The center of the photo is always crisp and accurate, while the outer edge is high in quality and provides the characteristic wrap of the subject without the bland black ring that a filter provides. I would recommend this lens to anyone who likes portrait or macro photography and likes shotting in low light, which the open aperture allows with little camera shake being induced. 5

The Canon 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye is the best fisheye I've ever used. It is super-sharp, never fuzzy. It acually better then every Nikon fisheye ever built. 5

The unique distortion of a fisheye lens is only useful for certain situations. It works well if you have an ornamental subject that you want to center in your photo, preferably something with a symmetrical or circular shape. It's also good for bending skyscrapers. One thing that's amazing is how close you have to get to your subject. Since this is a diagonal lens, it's a little more versatile than it would be if it were circular. It's extremely sharp. In order to get its intended effect, you need to use a full frame camera body. 5
