A: The Sennheiser HD 280 feature a 3.5mm stereo mini plug connection that is compatible with the headphone output on a Mac Pro, as well as many other portable devices. A 1/4 adapter is also included for connection to home theater receivers as well as Pro Audio equipment.

A: No, the cable that is shown in the last photo terminates to a USB-C connector and it is the Sennheiser CL 35 USB-C Locking 3.5mm TRS to USB Type-C Coiled Cable (B&H # SECL35USBC) which is sold separately. Sennheiser does not offer any cables that terminate to a Lightning connector but we do have a compatible Lightning cable that will work which is the Saramonic LC-C35 Locking 3.5mm Connector to Apple-Certified Lightning Output Cable (B&H # SALCC35). The other option for connecting the mic to an iOS device with a Lightning connector is to use the Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter (B&H # APLAADAP) together with the TRRS cable that is already included with the mic, which is the Sennheiser CL 35 TRRS Locking 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRRS Coiled Cable (B&H # SECL35TRR).

I'm not an audio producer, I bought this (HD280Pro), because I wanted a decent sound quality and detail. I just got it yesterday, and I have noticed: - Sound clarity is amazing - Cord length is great - Everything sounds even (Highs, Mids, and BASS) - The isolation can't be better (but not as good as Active Noise Cancellation) - Ear pieces are BIG (the hit my jaw bones) - Works very good with my MacBook Pro (Volume ---I---), and even better with the iPhone 4 - Some people said the BASS is not balanced well, I disagree with them, it is very well balanced I can't be amazed easily when it comes to qualities, but this time Sennheiser has done a good job. 5

It's great for when you are editing for hours because it sits around your ear instead of on it. It's super comfortable. It blocks out sound pretty well and the audio quality really helps when you are editing the audio and wanting to adjust equalizer settings and the like. We haven't used it outdoors too much yet for filming weddings...it seems like you might get pretty sweaty if it's hot out. Still, the quality of the material they used on the earpieces seem really sturdy. It folds to a nice small size so that you can stick it in your camera bag pretty easily. It does look a little butch though, but if looks don't matter to you as much, this thing is pretty awesome. 5

Great headphones, very comfortable at least to me. They come with a mini jack and quarter inch extension, makes them flexible in use. I use them at home, and for field recording. I recommend these! For the pros and cons, I only indicated for what I experienced. They seem durable (come with a 3 year warranty), but I only have them for a month - just so you know how to read my indications 5

I am heavily into listeing classical music (European and Indian). The sound is extreley clear and very very crispy. The bass sound is of pretty high quality, but not overwhelming. And it is not a gaming headphone, its for serious music. I am happy that I got it. 5
