This Kipon Shift Lens Mount Adapter for Hasselblad V-Mount Lens to GFX permits them to be used with FUJIFILM GFX series medium format camera bodies. Please note that after mounting the adapter, while infinity focus is available, only manual mode will be accessible in shooting. This adapter features a 360° free rotation in addition to a fluid 15mm shifting function that provides the user with more compositional control. The shift function minimizes any size distortions that may result from objects being seen at an angle. When located in its default resting position, the adapter can be used like any other standard non-shift adapter. To adjust the shift of the adapter, hold down the silver trigger and slide the moving component to desired length. Once adjusted, release the trigger to fix into place.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How do you set aperture for Canon EF lenses?

A: The adapter has contacts which allow the Canon EF lens to have its aperture and autofocus controlled from the Fuji body.

Q: 2. B&H; Your specs and overview for this lens has nothing to say about its tilt function and limits. What are they?

A: The KIPON Tilt/Shift Lens Mount Adapter for Hasselblad V-Mount Lens to FUJIFILM G-Mount Camera offers 360° Rotation and shift with same axis. approx. Tilt angle 12°, and Maximum shift: 15mm.

Q: 3. What are compatible Fuji camera models?

A: Any Fuji X mount camera like the XT3, XT4, XT30, XE3 etc...

Q: 4. If I use Nikon G lens with this adapter how do I know what aperture I am setting?

A: Unfortunately, as each lens has a different maximum aperture and aperture range, and as there are no markings on the Novoflex Nikon F Lens to Hasselblad X-Mount Camera Adapter, B&H # NOHAXNIK, there is no way to exactly calculate the aperture. As such, it is recommended to take a test photo at a particular aperture setting and review the result to see if you obtain the depth-of-field you desire in your image. There are markings showing the wide open aperture setting and the closed aperture setting so you will know the direction in which you are turning the aperture ring.

Q: 5. Is there any lock key for wide open aperture ring on the Novoflex lens adapter? is there any problem when both the aperture rings of the adapter and the Nikon D type lens are shifted to their own settings?

A: No, the Novoflex Nikon F Lens to Hasselblad X-Mount Camera Adapter, B&H # NOHAXNIK, does not have a lock feature. If you are using the Novoflex Nikon F Lens to Hasselblad X-Mount Camera Adapter on a lens that has its own aperture ring, you would have to choose to use one or the other; whichever ring you choose to use to set the aperture, you would set the other ring to the wide-open setting.

Q: 6. Hello, I want to buy this adapter for by Fujifilm Xt-3. But my Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 is heavy. Is the adapter built in plastic or metal? Regards, Lucie

A: This adapter is made of metal.

Q: 7. Shutter release will not work with XT3

A: You need to turn on the "Shoot w/o Lens" menu option in your camera, as the adapter has no electronic contacts confirming with your X-T3 that you have a lens mounted.

Q: 8. Was thinking of purchasing the Kipon M42-GFX adapter to use the new TTArtisan 75/1.5 lens. Will the adapter work?

A: When using the KIPON Lens Mount Adapter for M42 Lens to FUJIFILM GFX Camera with the TTArtisan 75mm f/1.5 Swirly Bokeh Lens (M42), some vignetting may occur since the TTArtisan lens was made for 35mm size sensors.

Q: 9. Can this give infinity focus?

A: Yes the KIPON Lens Mount Adapter for Nikon F-Mount G Lens to Hasselblad X-Mount Camera supports focusing to infinity.

Q: 10. Hello - I have a Sony a6000 eMount and have 20 Nikkor AI lenses that are F mount - will the Shift version this mount my Nikkor F mount lenses - no electric contacts are needed?

A: This FotodioX Pro Shift Lens Mount Adapter for Nikon G-Type F-Mount Lens to Fujifilm X-Mount Camera is not compatible with the Sony a6000--it's only compatible with Fujifilm X-mount cameras.

Bought this lens to take on our trip to the Grand Tetons specifically for Milky Way and star photography. This lens didn't disappoint with its wide view and ease of use. The price was great and the pictures of the Milky Way turned out awesome.

That's right! This lens was a game changer for me and saving me so loot to boot. I light to shoot a lot of the Milky Way. The night I received my new 14mm f2.8 happened to be on a night during the new moon. I spent the next several hours capturing some of the best images to date. You definitely can go wrong this lens.

Bought this lens for astrophotography, cityscapes, and landscapes. Previously had bought Rokinon's 24mm/f1.4 lens and had been very happy with it. Did not have any concern about the build quality. Testing the 14mm on a Canon 5DIII, the images were focus sharp, no noticeable vignetting no color shifting, etc. Bought the AE chip to avoid having to write down my exposure setting in the dark. Focus at infinity is about 1/3 of the way between the vertical line and the infinity symbol, but no real issue there. Because of the front lens element, you cannot mount any filters. No aperture ring, it is controlled by the camera, as is Canon's L lenses. Lightroom read the EXIF data without any problems. Future wish is for Rokinon to offer the AE chip on other lenses, hopefully the 24mm/f1.4 which is a great lens by the way. I would buy the 14mm lens again.

I love this lens! I am using it with an A99 and have captured some amazing landscapes, skies, wedding images and even some band shots at a live venue. There is definitely some distortion with the 14mm if your subject is not in the middle of the frame. I haven't noticed as much of an issue near the top and bottom of the image it has mostly been on the left and right. This is something you will run into with any wide angle lens. That said... Its nothing that photo editing software cannot fix. The manual focus is fast and smooth, I have not once wished I had an AF setting on this lens. I have used it at fast paced events like weddings and live music venues and generally setting the focus to infinity does the trick. This is a solid build and totally worth the investment if you need a wide angle lens.

I hate it when people praise a piece of equipment and then qualify that praise with ...for the money. I've read a lot of reviews about this lens that end with that qualifier. It leaves me wondering, well, what if I spent 5,6X for a Nikon 14mm to 24mm f/2.8 or the Tamron 15 - 30mm f/2.8, will my shots be that much better? I played tug of war over this thought for better than an year and then finally said, just buy it. And I did. It's a wonderful lens. I bought it for taking shots of real estate listings for agents. I figured an MLS picture doesn't need to uber sharp; any decent lens will render an image shot in RAW and touched up to at least 8X10 with clarity and sharpness. This delivers in spades. If I had any regret, and I knew this going in, is that it's not a zoom. Sometimes, I want to just spin the zoom ring to change composition but it's not there. No real issue, I just move and that works well enough. I thought the lack of AF would be a problem but I found it really isn't. Most the time you're shoot at infinity so you're usually in focus but you do have to remember to check your focus often or suffer the result. The picture I uploaded, you can see no fall off at the corners and over all good image quality even though I had to save as Jpeg and reduce overall image size from 25meg to just 2.3meg in order to upload.

Just received this lens and took some test shots using a Canon 6D -- results so far are very good, which I expected since I rented this lens (without the AE chip) before buying. A pleasant surprise was that the AE chip, in addition to providing focus confirm, allows the camera body to control the aperture setting -- the manual aperture setting ring on the lens as shown in the photos is not present on the AE chip model. Also, the AE chip model sets the EXIF Focal Length and Lens tags to 14 mm and 14mm, respectively. (The non-AE chip model I rented did not set these tags.)
