I have had this tripod for about a week. I read some reviews about it being unstable, but it works fine for my GX85. My biggest lens is the Panasonic 45-150mm f/4-5.6.

What I like is that it unfolds rather quickly. You twist the feet to lock and unlock the legs. Unlike twist locks found on beefier tripods, the feet actually twist in discrete increments and release one section as they do so. I suspect that some of the complaints about this tripods legs sliding after being locked are related to this, because I nearly made the mistake of thinking I had tightened the leg enough when in fact there was one more click to go.

I will try to remember to revisit this review after a few months of using the tripod.

I was ready to throw it in the garbage and the more I use it the more I love it--easy to set up and very light to carry yes it is light weight and I wouldn't want to put my heavy DSLR on it but for what I want it for --it does a great job-- does take some practice to use it

This little tripod is impressively sturdy for its size. While I have doubts about its ability to handle an eight pound load, it is satisfyingly solid with a compact DSLR mounted. One caveat: the center column can be tripled in height by extending its two inner sections. This is where things get a little shaky: with this additional leverage, the columns foam lined mount can no longer effect a firm enough grip. Leave the center column compacted, and youll have a reasonably solid support.

If you're looking for a serious heavy duty tripod, this is not for you. I use this for amateur landscape photography when I go camping/hiking. It's the perfect size and weight. It is a bit wobble-y when it is fully extended, but that is to be expected. Got this guy on sale, and it was the best impulse purchase I've made. Definitely look into this small guy if you are looking to for a lightweight and portable solution for casual photography!

Was looking for a lightweight tripod to fit in my camera bag. When this one went on sale, I grabbed it. Fits my camera bag perfectly and has features most small tripods dont have. Glad I purchased it.

Best tripod I've found for backpacking and camping. It's adaptable to so many conditions, low weight, and more importantly small. I can fit this into a variety of bags, and hit the road for a shoot.

I was looking for something small and light weight and this fits the bill.  Sturdy enough for my a6500 -- even with an sel18135 fully extended.  I really like the twist lock/unlock legs and extension -- beats fooling with levers or lock nuts for every section.  And the three position leg angle is handy for low shots or dealing with awkward locations.  Would recommend.  Just keep in mind the load limits.

This little tripod is impressively sturdy for its size. While I have doubts about its ability to handle an eight pound load, it is satisfyingly solid with a 1.5 pound compact mirrorless mounted. One caveat: the center column can be tripled in height by extending its two inner sections. This is where things get a little shaky: with this additional leverage, the columns foam lined mount can no longer effect a firm enough grip. Leave the center column compacted, and youll have a reasonably solid support.
