Smooth your pans and tilts with the Agile 12S Fluid Head from OZEN. Designed for fast setup in ENG- and EFP-style shooting scenarios, the Agile 12S is equipped with a CNC-machined dial mechanism for crisp, repeatable counterbalance adjustment in 10 steps. The Agile 12S's versatile design enables you to quickly change camcorder configurations within a payload range of 4.4 to 30.8 pounds.

The Agile 12S is equipped with a 5/5 + 0 fluid drag mechanism and offers a tilt range of 90 to -80°. The considerable amount of fluid drag available at higher increments enables experienced operators to acquire full-zoom, pan/tilt-intensive images that are indistinguishable from those acquired in close. This fluid head uses the S-Loc camera mounting interface, which enhances the front-to-rear balance adjustment range to accommodate exceptionally front- or back-heavy camera setups.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this a good enough head to handle a fully rigged out FS7 with a 70-200 zoom or cinema prime lens? Thanks

A: This has a load capacity between 2 to 20 pounds. Just as long as your rigged out camera does not go above 20 pounds it is a great choice. Keeping it below 20 pounds should be very possible with the FS7 and that lens.

Q: 2. Is the FSB-4 that much better than the Ace XL? Besides the Ace having more plastic, are the differences substantial or marginal?

A: With plastic head's, the main compromise that is made is in rigidity and flex. If you deal with heavier cameras, with pretty tight tilt and pan settings, you may end up with a degree of flex back with the Ace vs the FSB. If you lock an ACE down completely, and push on the camera, you can actually see the head move a bit...may not be an issue to most people.

Q: 3. Is this suitable for video video shoot?

A: Yes, you can use this head when shooting video.

Q: 4. Can you attach a camera body to the Gitzo gimble head plate? (Nikon D850) to be able to use it with a wide angle lens (without a collar) - I'm trying to move around with as less tripod heads as possible

A: I don't believe it will fit. The side of the camera will most likely hit the vertical shaft of the gimbal.

Q: 5. Is that a flat base mounting option for sliders?

A: Base Mount 75 mm Half Ball

Q: 6. Will this head fit onto the Gitzo Systematic Series 5 Carbon Fiber Tripod with Arca-Type Series 4 Center Ball Head (BH #GIGK5543LS83 MFR #GK5543LS-83LR)?

A: If you remove the Gitzo GIGH4383LR Series 4 Center Ball Head from the top of the Gitzo Systematic Series 5 Carbon Fiber Tripod with Arca-Type Series 4 Center Ball Head with Lever Release, then yes, you may connect the Gitzo Gimbal Fluid Head to the top of the Gitzo Systematic Series 5 Carbon Fiber Tripod.

Q: 7. I am loking to buy gitzo fluid gimbal head for canon 600mm with 1dx mark2 is it sutiable please do suggest thank you

A: Good, regular gimbal heads are designed to move easily and freely in every direction you want to move your lens/camera combination. Fluid heads smooth out, but slow down, freedom of movement. If you are interested in shooting stills of running or flying creatures I suggest you look elsewhere. If your purpose is smoothness of motion, even if that motion prevents you from catching up with some targets, a fluid gimbal may be the way to choose.

Q: 8. Does it accept a Manfrotto 501 sliding plate?

A: We're afraid not. This head uses the Miller 1204 style plate. https://bhpho.to/2Use2dY

Q: 9. Is this plate the same as the standard Manfrotto?

A: The Sachtler FSB 10 Fluid Head with Sideload Mechanism will accept the Manfrotto 504PLONG plate.

Q: 10. Do you have any distributer or retailer in india thank you

A: We are only in New York City and we ship world-wide. If you add your items to a B&H shopping cart, you can calculate the items costs, shipping methods, time for delivery, any taxes and total costs very quickly.
