Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can the "pseudo ball head" be removed, so that I can use the tripod head also with other standard 75mm bowl tripods or "flat attachment" tripods?

A: This has a flat base head which you can remove from the ballhead leveling system. You will be able to use that head on flat base tripods or tripods with a 75mm bowl if you have half ball adapter.

Q: 2. Am I able to shoot vertical with this tripad? I do a lot of vertical Video...

A: No you need a l bracket to be able to do a vertical Video

Q: 3. Is this head compatible with a Manfrotto 500PL or 501PL plate?

A: Yes it is.

Q: 4. What’s the closest legs-only equivalent?

A: For a tripod legs option that has a rising center column and a leveling bowl, the Manfrotto 755XB MDeVe would be a close alternative (SKU: MA755XB) https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/504853-REG/Manfrotto_755XB_755XB_MDeVe_Aluminum_Video.html/specs

Q: 5. Can I replace the center column and which model (whether Benro or other) 0f short center column is compatible?

A: We do not sell replacement center columns for this tripod.

Q: 6. Hello, does it work for dsrl canon t5 and 7D?

A: yes this will work with DSLR camera with a standard 1/4-20 mounting thread

Q: 7. Is leveling the tripod achieved purely by the legs, or is there a bowl under the head?

A: Yes, Leveling the Miliboo MUFA Aluminum travel tripod would require adjusting the legs to level the head.

Q: 8. How low and how high can the camera go on this tripod?

A: Height Range on this tripod is: 35" to 73.2"

Q: 9. Does the fluid head included with this tripod have separate pan & tilt tension adjustments, or only locks? The fluid head in these images appears to be the Magnus VPH-20, which has separate pan & tilt tension knobs. However, I don't see that feature listed in the specifications for the fluid head included with this tripod.

A: There is some degree of tension adjustment, but it's really had to adjust in that respect. In practice, the controls act more like locks. The tilt action does have a separate knob to adjust tension, but it's really hard to turn that knob, so it's not something you'll want to change a lot. You can set the tension for the camera you'll use, then pretty much want to leave it alone. That is for the tilt, there is no separate tension adjustment for the pan, just the one knob that may allow you to add some tension, but it's not very precise in that respect, mainly just good to lock the pan movement. This tripod is functional for the price, but as with anything you'll get what you pay for. For the price, this is a good tripod, it will do the job and holds up pretty well with use. But don't expect it to function as well as tripods that cost 3-4x as much, that just isn't realistic.

Q: 10. I noticed the VT-400 and VT-3000 have the same base price. Any thoughts on why I should buy one versus the other?

A: Stability, size, and height. The VT-3000 is heavier-duty but also a little larger and heavier.
