Operating in the 542 to 566 MHz frequency band, the Samson AirLine 99m AH9 Wireless UHF Fitness Headset System features an AR99m UHF micro receiver and an AH9 micro transmitter attached to a Qe dual-ear fitness headset condenser microphone. The frequency-agile UHF system can be used to capture audio in various environments, and offers up to 300' of reliable performance for singers and other active performer applications.

The transmitter is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery and mounted on the Qe bidirectional headset microphone, which provides clear audio reproduction and sound rejection at the sides of the capsule.

The AR99m provides 100 selectable channels across 24 MHz and is equipped with a true RF diversity design that minimizes dropouts. Built with tone key technology, the receiver prevents unwanted noise when your transmitter is off or out of range. Its XLR, 3.5mm, and 1/4" outputs ensure compatible connectivity with a variety of mixers and PA systems. Also, a side-panel USB Type-A port allows for convenient charging of the transmitter or a mobile device, or the addition of a Samson XPD wireless system (available separately).

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. are the batteries replaceable?

A: No, these have built in batteries.

Q: 2. Can I use 2 of these systems on one camera and have 4 separate audio channels? If I plug one receiver in XLR 1 and the second receiver in XLR 2 can I separate all 4 channels of audio for 4 people in one camera?

A: Yes, you can use two WMX-20-DUO systems at the same time on the same camera, but you would have two audio tracks, not four. Each receiver outputs one signal with the combined audio from its two mics. Also, the camera only records two audio tracks, not four. If you do need to have four separate audio tracks, it would be best to use individual wireless systems for each person and capture the audio on a multi-track recorder. The audio and video can be synced in post production.

Q: 3. How many Movo WMX-20-TX's can be used with 1 Movo WMX-20-DUO?

A: A maximum of two wireless transmitters can be used with the wireless receiver included with the Movo Photo WMX-20-DUO 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Lavalier Microphone System.

Q: 4. Can this be connected to the zoom f6?

A: Yes, the Movo Photo WMX-20-DUO 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Lavalier Microphone System can be connected to the Zoom F6 Multitrack Field Recorder.

Q: 5. Do they make a cell phone cable?

A: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1048152-REG/rode_sc7_trrs_iphone_cable_for.html?sts=pi&pim=Y You can order this cable for connection to smartphones and tablets.

Q: 6. Can this unit be powered by the USB port?

A: Yes, the Sony URX-P41D Dual-Channel Camera-Mount Wireless Receiver can run on USB power.

Q: 7. How does this interface with a Smartphone?

A: There is an included TRRS output cable that you could connect to the headphone jack ( or headphone jack adapter) of your smartphone. This would allow for recording into the phone.

Q: 8. Can a system like this one be had for under $700 with a configuration of one TX and 2 (to 3) RX. It won't be used for a stadium but for an in-home event, within the restraints of a home's short distance. headphones will be purchased separately.

A: The Shure PSM 300 system will be over the budget, but we do have other systems from other manufacturers like the VocoPro IEM-Digital 4 Wireless Stereo In-Ear Monitoring System (B&H # VOIEMDIG4), the Galaxy Audio AS-950-4N 4-Pack Any Spot Series Wireless Personal Monitoring System - N Band, 518-542 MHz (B&H # GAAS9504N), the CAD GXLIEM4 Quad-Mix In-Ear Wireless Monitoring System - T: 902 to 928 MHz (B&H # CAGXLIEM4), the Nady PEM-04 Wireless 4-Person In-Ear Monitoring System - 903 to 928 MHz (B&H # NAPEM04), and the Xvive Audio U4R4 Wireless In-Ear Monitor System with Four Receivers - 2.4 GHz (B&H # XVU4R4), which are all systems for up to four users. For two users, we have the CAD GXLIEM2 Dual-Mix In-Ear Wireless Monitoring System - T: 902 to 928 MHz (B&H # CAGXLIEM2), the Xvive Audio U4R2 Wireless In-Ear Monitor System with Two Receivers - 2.4 GHz (B&H # XVU4R2), the Galaxy Audio AS-1100-2N Wireless In-Ear Twin Pack Monitor System - N: 518 to 542 MHz (B&H # GAAS11002N), and the Nady PEM-02 Wireless 2-Person In-Ear Monitoring System - 903 to 928 MHz (B&H # NAPEM02).

Q: 9. Is it feasible to purchase two dual sets and run all four mics and two receivers at the same time without interference? If you turn on the first two mics, run the channel scan, sync, then turn on the second two mics and run the channel scan, will the second two mics be able to have enough bandwidth to find a nice freq to sit on?

A: Yes, that is possible, according to the manufacturer specifications.

Q: 10. Is it safe to plug the receiver into an audio interface that supplies 48V phantom power?

A: Most audio interfaces that provide 48V phantom power allow for that feature to be turned off, which is what I would recommend when plugging in this system.
