The Smartphone Gimbal Counterweight Set from EVO Gimbals is designed for EVO smartphone gimbals and is also compatible with many third-party smartphone gimbals. It allows you to balance your phone when you have external lenses or other accessories attached to it. The set includes four stackable counterweights and an adapter that secures the weights to the motor arm of the gimbal. The adapter provides 1/4"-20 threaded holes for the weights to screw into it, stacked together or distributed among the different holes. The weights are designed with an integrated 1/4"-20 male on one side and 1/4"-female on the other, allowing them to screw into one another.

I like this product. It is rigid and versatile and helps you position lights extended a fair distance without seeing the stand in the shot. It can hold a somewhat heavy fixture. It held a Mole Baby Junior, and it still felt can take a lot more. 5

So much cheaper than the Matthews! Works great too with the counterweight! I do wish it could fit a bit more snugly into a Matthews Combo Stand as it goes in a bit loose until tightened, but it still works. Just means I have to get an Avenger Combo Stand! 5
