This pouch is simply fantastic. It fits my Q2 with handgrip and my M10 Monochrom with handgrip and either the 28mm Elmarit ASPH with lens hood and cap attached or with the 50mm f/2.4 Summarit with lens hood and cap, or my M4-P with handgrip and either of the same lenses mounted.

I like this pouch so much that I'm getting a second one.

Highly recommended for Leica M and Q shooters.

Solid addition to the tripod. Only small detail is that the actual stem is black, not silver as shown in the details above.

Love this case. I Like to have my camera with me whenever I leave the house, even for commutes to and from work. Sometimes its inconvienent to carry a separate camera bag. This works great, gives the camera some protection. Nice leather, very well made.

I bought this Leica ballhead and Leica mini-tripod for a trip to China thirty years ago and still use it regularly. Currently the two together support my Nikon D90 and the Nikkor 18-200 lens. I almost never set it on a table top. Instead, I use it as a hand held chest pod, with the three legs pressed against my chest and the camera tilted up to my eye. Thus my body acts kind of like a monopod. This creates a stable platform so that I can shoot at very slow shutter speeds in available light. And I can move much more freely than I could with a monopod. Pricey, but worth every penny when you see the images you can get from what seem like impossible available light situations. However, with the new CMOS sensors that can shoot at ISO 6400 and higher, maybe this device, and most tripods, and even image stabilization will no longer be needed.

I have been a pro shooter now for over 30 years. I bought one of these heads back in about 1984 and i still use it often. It now sitting on top of my little carbon gitzo about to head of to India for its 4th trip there. I used it daily for years on a leitz table tripod for ground level fashion shots with a Hasselblad 500 ELM. Traveled with it and my Leica M's through Kalimantan Borneo , Perched my Linhof 4x5 on it when i needed a low shot, and now use it with my Sony A7's. Its my oldest bit of gear that i still use and worth every cent i payed and then some. In the long run this will be the cheapest head you will ever buy.
