Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. It comes with a USB cable? and how long is the cable

A: Yes. It is approximately 3 feet long.

Q: 2. I guess this mic can be used on iPhone as well & monitor the sound via a Bluetooth headphone. Correct me if I am wrong?

A: You would need a Rode SC7 cable and an Apple Lightning to Headphone Jack adapter to be able to do that. If you want to monitor via bluetooth, you can do that but keep in mind that because of the latency in bluetooth processing, your audio will likely come into your headphones delayed.

Q: 3. Does this work with a Mac mini. Has anyone tried it?

A: I have not tried it with a Mac Mini, however, it works on the same principal as normal speakers using the aux or speaker port for sound. You do need USB for power. The speaker sounds great and works very well.

Q: 4. The soundbar pro HDMI cable plugs into the ARC HDMI cable in my TV. If I plug the HDMI cable from my cable box to a non-ARC HDMI input on my TV, is this soundbar capable of processing "all" the audio formats my cable provider uses? (or any other device attached to non-ARC input on the TV, like a DVD player)

A: Yes

Q: 5. Can it be plugged directly into a projector via the HDMI cable?

A: Yes the Roku Streambar Pro Stereo Soundbar can connect to a projector with an HDMI input, via HDMI cable.

Q: 6. The power port does not look like your typical DC port. What type of DC plug should I look up to find the correct power cable to buy?

A: At this moment power cables will need to be deigned. DJI has one cable option to power the display from their Master Wheels or Force PRO. Cable - DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor Controller Cable (11.8") BH #DJHBRMCC

Q: 7. Will this work to replace my original ride videomic's (not the pro) stock elastic suspension system? Cause replacing those elastics is a pain. Or do I need to find a Rode Lyre?

A: Rde provide a Lyre Upgrade for the original VideoMic. A search for 'rode videomic lyre upgrade' should get what you are looking for.

Q: 8. Would this work for replacing the stock RDE VideoMic Pro shock mount?

A: This shock mount is designed for a true shotgun mic and would not fit the RODE VideoMic Pro model.

Q: 9. Does this provide a clean video output with SDI Timecode? Can this be used to record with an Atmos or similar external recorder? Does it pass a log C image with a LUT?

A: It is our understanding that the DJI Remote Monitor Expansion Plate (SDI/HDMI/DC-In) will pass whatever signal it is given.

Q: 10. would this also work with a boom pole?

A: This shock mount is designed specifically to be inserted into a hot shoe of a camera. I would recommend the Rycote Universal Shotgun Mount for Cameras and Boom Poles, B&H # RYUSGM. This model, which features a Duo-Lyre Cradle, is designed for use with a boom pole or to be mounted on a camera.
