A: Yes it can but to be honest, I wouldn't put more than 2 in it. It feels strong but not strong enough to hold more than 2, especially if you have the 40 inch C stands which get pretty heavy. It's really more suited for light stands. I also use the pelican 1750 which I actually manage to get 5 C stands into. 2 of the tallest, 2 medium and one small and they all fit. Of couse it's really heavy but it's easier to put in a vehicle bc you can stack cases on top of it and it has wheels. Good luck.

You can FWD or RWD the full length to see if that helps. Also, you can clean the transport area gently with a cotton swab and isopropyl alcohol.
