Zoom G1x Four Guitar Effects Processor With Built-in Expression Pedal

Zoom G1x Four Guitar Effects Processor With Built-in Expression Pedal
  • Product Code: ga190723
  • Availability: In Stock

$359.97 $449.96

The Zoom G1X Four is a multi-effects processor designed for use with electric guitars, giving you an included expression pedal to provide continuously variable control over certain effects. Offered in an easy to use stompbox format, the G1X Four sports a wide selection of processes, amp emulations, and other features, such as an onboard 30-second looper and a chromatic tuner. With 68 built-in rhythm patterns, you can add drum loops to the mix, which can quite helpful during looping.

Distortion, chorus, reverb, and more are all on hand, as are 13 amp models that simulate classic combinations. Some effects benefit from the use of an expression pedal, so you can change the effect's amount in a smooth gradual way. You can tweak the pedal's operation in the digital realm through the G1X Four's display screen, or physically, employing a 5mm hex wrench to change the torque of the pedal itself.

Five effects can be chained at any time and in any order. You can save these effects in one of the 50 user-preset patches. Switch among patches (or banks of patches) quickly with the tap of a toe, so you can change your live or studio sound with ease. You can also change global characteristics to retain a sense of unity among patches. A three-knob tone stack and the overall output level knob do not change as you cycle through your sounds.

The pedal sports over 70 different effects, and you can edit or add more effects from your computer too. Simply hook the pedal up to your Mac or Windows machine over a USB cable and add effects from Zoom's Guitar Lab software.

The G1X Four provides one 1/4" instrument input, one 3.5mm input for mobile devices and media players, and a combined amp/headphone output. The unit runs on four AA batteries, giving you up to 18 hours of run time. You can also power the unit with a dedicated ZOOM AD-16 AC adapter, or over USB.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How can I get my lens off of this thing, I can't un mount my lens, what should I press?

A: There is a small silver button on the side of the adapter that you press; the button doesn't press inwards, it's more of a lever so you push it towards the camera end of the adapter (I think it goes that way, but it does not take a lot of pressure for it to release)

Q: 2. Will it accommodate the camera with the lens adapter and polarizing filter attached?

A: I can't say for certain, since I don't have the lens adapter, but having both the camera and the case, there is a good bit of free space in front of the lens when the case is attached; it's not a particularly snug fit. My guess is that it *probably* will fit; I can successfully close the case around the camera and a spare 58mm filter I have.

Q: 3. What are the lowest and highest HZ it can pick up?

A: Zoom does not provide the frequency response range for their recorders but the mic should handle the frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz.

Q: 4. Is it possible to record by connecting USB Power Bank to Zoom H3-VR?

A: YES

Q: 5. is this better for ef lenes with gh4/ and explaine me its crope effact

A: Yes, the FotodioX Canon EF pro Lens Adapter with Built-In Iris Control for Micro Four Thirds Cameras is a great option for an adapter to use with the Panasonic GH4. There is no crop factor on this adapter.

Q: 6. can you record or use this as a mic for video meetings?

A: Yes. There is an output connection, which would allow a live audio feed to be included in a meeting.

Q: 7. Can the recording be separate into 4 independent tracks?

A: Yes, this can be done easily in post-production.

Q: 8. I have Contax N mount Vario -Sonar lens 28 to 80 will this work on Olympus OMD Micro 4/3 ?.beutifull lens shame not to make us of it . It also as macro range to 1 to 1 as far as can guess .

A: The adapter I have is loose on the camera. Ive had the same problem before. You can use it but be aware that it may not be a tight fit.

Q: 9. Does it have a belt loop?

A: The Canon Deluxe Soft Case PSC-6100 for G1X Mark II does not have a belt loop.

Q: 10. Could this be used instead of a flash?

A: Yes, but the output on the Pixel G2c Ultra-Slim is good for 3-5 Feet.

I love my zoom lens that I purchased for my Olympus pen. Be sure to order and adapter when you get it because it will not fit the camera by itself. But the lense is so awesome to pull your subject in really really close. I love it.

This lens seems very sharp and clean. The first thing I shot was the recent eclipse and it did a very good job; even though the range was only 180 zoom. most lens would give problems at their telephoto end, but this one kept it's quality quite well out at it's maximum range.

All the articles and reviews I read before buying this product turned out true. Great lens, no bubble effect at edges, and very nice for the price. Little slow with auto focus as some said, but I can live with that. Happy with the purchase and with the four thirds adapter have been able to use on Olypus PEN E-P1 without a hitch! Love it!

I got one of these for about $ in very good shape and I really recomend it!This is a Sharp pro level lens:Yes, the auto-focus is not fast in an e-pl5 but when the alternative is a 40-150mm f2.8 for about 7x the price I paid for it, that becomes completely secondary.Yes it is a big heavy lens, but the image quality is bsolutelly excelent.I've been using it mainly for wild life photography and I really love it. The maximum magnification is a litle short and will make a hunter out of you, which in my opinion is very welcome chalenge.Get a 1.4x teleconverter and it becomes a 140-580mm f3.5-4 fantastic quality lens.If I had to buy one new, i'd go for the 40-150mm f2.8, but with the desapearence of the 4/3 format there are so many of these in second hand for sale that I woldn't bother to look for the new ones.I'd recomend a second handed olympus 50-200mm f2.8-3.5 to any wild life photographer.

I already own a 50-200mm Zuiko SWD lens and needed another lens to do some portraits. This 12-60mm lens is perfect for what I'm looking for. It is wide enough for me to shoot in close quarters, and can be used to shoot macro as well. I love the sharpness of this lens and the AF is very fast when used with the E-3. Overall, I love this new lens that I'd just purchased as well as the 50-200mm SWD.

Very solidly built hence it is a bit heavy for it's size but that isn't really a bad thing. My only criticism would be the lack of a focus limiter switch.

This lens is fast, accurate and just has a great feel to it. I use it for all sorts of photographs from landscapes to weddings and portraits. It is also very good for macro shots. With the 14-42mm kit lens, my E-520 was a very good camera, but with this lens it rivals the pros. I won't leave home without it. It is now my standard lens for nearly everything.
