Rather, use a Sony L-series battery directly in the camera's battery plate or a dummy battery connected to a V-mount battery plate (with a V-mount battery), if desired.

A: No, you screw the camera eye piece that you removed from the camera into it. Works GREAT.

A: There is no support information saying this plate with the Sony PXW Z190.

A: It will attach onto the SSD Recorder, which features a passthrough cable for your camera’s battery power supply, so you can attach V-mount or gold mount batteries to the rear of the camera behind the recorder. Exact dimension specs are not provided by manufacturer at this time and we have no way of physically verifying this, since products are unavailable in our warehouse as of this writing.
