A: The Sigma 20mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens for Nikon F is also available in the Canon EF, Sigma SA, and Sony FE lens mounts. The lenses are all identical except for the lens mount. As the lenses are all on the same page on our website, the images of the lens would look identical for all camera mounts (except for the image of the mount itself), and the images captured by customers are not able to be separated by the camera mount used to capture the image. The image quality for all mounts would be similar in performance.

A: The lens is ultra-wide and produces a rectilinear image with very little barrel or pincushion distortion. I have taken architectural images which virtually no adjustment of vertical or horizontal lines. The 1.4 provides excellent low-light capabilities. The lens has an excellent feel in the hand, and the build quality is also excellent.

A: If you need filters for landscape or flash photography, then the 24mm f/1.4 or Nikkor 20mm f/1.8 is a better choice, but for astro photography which doesn't use filters, this is the best choice except maybe the Sigma Art 14mm f/1.8.
