Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work with a RRS L Bracket?

A: The BBX Boomerang Flash Bracket comes complete with a Universal Arca Swiss Bracket Plate specifically designed for the Flash Bracket. To use RRS or similar Arca plates and L-Brackets PMG Manufactures a CB60 Clamp that will allow you to use your current plate and lock it into the Arca-Type clamp that will allow the Flash Bracket to install onto the side. You will need to purchase the BBX or BBGv2 Boomerang Flash Bracket and also the CB60 Clamp with BBX mounting pins.

Q: 2. Would this bracket interfere with the articulating screen of the Canon R5?

A: No, the ProMediaGear Boomberang BBX2 does not interfere with the EOS R5's LCD screen; the arm is positioned in front and on the right of the camera's grip and shouldn't get in your way.

Q: 3. Does the BBX come with a CS2 Cold Shoe? I see that someone asked this question for the BBGV2 and THAT bracket does come with the CS2. Does the BBX come with one as well?

A: The BBX and BBGv2 Boomerang Flash Bracket comes with (1) CS2 cold shoe.

Q: 4. Can this bracket be attached to a tripod or monopod?

A: Absolutely. The Bracket Plate on the Bottom (PBX3-BD) is Arca Type. 1.5 width. To attach to non-Arca Standard Heads there are 1/4-20 screw holes on the bottom to mount a plate.

Q: 5. Is the lock tool included to prevent strap slip?

A: Yes. This comes with the Strap Lock Kit.

Q: 6. How is this different from version I that was discontinued?

A: The difference in design is the discontinued version only works with tall cameras like ones with a battery grip. The new version can work with a camera with or without a grip.

Q: 7. does it can fit Sony a7iii with batis 25mm hood on ?

A: Sure will! More info on internal setups here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyrNs_tmJl4

Q: 8. Will this work if you have a battery grip on the camera?

A: Yes, The BBX is Universal and will adjust to fit both standard DSLR's and Taller Bodies or Bodies with Grip. The only thing to be aware of is that when going into a vertical photo on taller cameras or cameras with grip the quick disconnect knob will be in the webbing of your thumb and first finger. This is only noticeable if you use the trigger button mounted on the battery or bottom side of taller bodied cameras. If you use a taller bodied camera or camera with grip all the time check out the ProMediaGear BBG. This design is specifically for those cameras and will not work with standard DSLR's. The disconnect feature is different on the BBG and won't interfere with any traditional shooting style.

Q: 9. Can it fit a 135 mm canon?

A: This bag can fit the Canon EF 135mm L series lens.

Q: 10. Does it fit a canon 77D with 17-50 and 18-135?

A: No, it is too small for the camera and both lenses.
