A: No you cannot. Panasonic and Sony use different protocols for control therefore Panasonic Controllers can not control Sony Cameras.

A: Hello, James! The BRC-X1000 has a much slower zoom capability. The issue with the H900 is that if you tried to zoom slower, then the lens becomes unstable. If you are using the X1000 and put the camera into ramp mode 3 and you combine with the RMIP500 (with its variable speed zoom control), you can do on air zooms that the H900 cannot. ~Zac
