Available for download, Vienna Ensemble Pro 7 from Vienna Symphonic Library is a mixing and hosting application, custom made for hosting Vienna Instruments. 

The application allows for setting up a cross-platform, multiple-computer network without the need for extra MIDI and audio interfaces using a simple Ethernet cable. Additionally, the included Epic Orchestra 2 Sample Pack provides an all-in-one production tool for getting started right away, with 73GB worth of material. 

Use it as a host on the same computer as the sequencer to integrate all instrument and effect plug-ins from manufacturers such as Spectrasonics, Native Instruments, Waves, and more, and mix with them all. Effects from Vienna Suite Pro are also included. The software also integrates easily with Vienna MIR Pro, and it's compatible with Mac and Windows platforms.

Q: 1. How do I connect this to a thunderbolt 2 iMac?

A: The Micro Panel comes with a USB to USB-C cable which will work with any USB computer connection. The panel is USB controlled. It does not need USB3 or Thunderbolt to work.

Q: 2. Will this work with USB3 or Thunderbolt 2? On a Mac Pro ?

A: It will work with USB 3.0. The Mini Panel includes a USB 3.0 Type-A to USB Type-C cable for backwards compatibility with systems that do not yet have the USB Type C connection.

Q: 3. Can this panel be used with the ATEM camera controls for Blackmagic cameras? If not, could it be in the future... please?

A: No. The Mini Panel cannot do that. The Resolve Micro Panel can control cameras with the ATEM.

Q: 4. We saw a V2 designation with the BHPhoto SKU. Is there any design change or improvement to this version? Thanks.

A: The BLDRPMINV2 reflects the new prices set by Blackmagic Design.

Q: 5. Will this work as a CCU controller through a Blackmagic switcher?

A: Yes. But needs to be connected to a computer in order to drive camera functions.

Q: 6. Can you use any of the contrast wheels to scrub in the editing section? I am looking for a scrub wheel for davinci, this could be great for both if possible

A: No.

Q: 7. Can we upgrade the included activation key to a USB dongle with a fee? Thanks.

A: Unfortunately, Black Magic does not have an option to convert the DaVinci Resolve Studio activation code included with the Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Micro Panel to a Dongle license.

Q: 8. If I have a new laptop, how can I transfer the software to the new laptop?

A: Just re-download software to new unit. If the unit is driven by dongle insert dongle first and then redownload software. Make sure to deactivate your key before reinstalling.

Q: 9. Will this panel work with software other than resolve?

A: No

Q: 10. Does this panel come with a license key/activation code or usb dongle for activation for the studio version?

A: It does not. This does not come with a DaVinci Resolve Studio license code.
