WORKS GREAT-EASY TO SWITCH LENSES

I originally rated this as two-stars. Because I really wanted this to work, I spent a 30 minutes, practicing swapping out lenses -- over the safety of the bed.

That time was well spent. I've successfully, and confidently used it a dozen times since then -- even not using the belt clip.

Still, I do check to make sure the lens is "locked in" -- just to be sure.

This is a wonderful tool to help with workflow. If you use it correctly, its terrific. I dont have to mess with my sling bag to grab a different lens to get the perfect shot. It takes only a few moments to switch lenses and that lets me capture the light faster when its changing quickly.

The Item is very well built with a mix of metal and plastic parts, haven't used it in a real world situation yet, but look forward to doing so this weekend at a wedding. I'm rating it at 5 starts because of the build quality once I have more experience with it will update the post with more info.

Removing lenses took a little getting used to, but after about 20 minutes you get the hang of it. It has been a great asset during weddings, especially if you primarily shoot with primes like I do.

I picked this up based upon a recommendation from a fellow photographer friend and I'm glad I did! This, and all of the Peak Design products, are very hand, great quality and super useful! I have used this to carry around my Canon 24L, 50 f1.8 and Canon 6D, without any issues, making everything very conveniently located on my belt loop! Much better than carrying a lens in your pocket that gets moisture from sweat, and wants to fall out and break everytime you bend over to get a good shot. Highly recommend this!

I bought this to be quicker with my lens switching and this thing is perfect! I tested this out for a festival aftermovie and it made my life so much easier. I carried 2 lenses at all times and was able to shoot and use my gimbal switching for each lens. Best purchase!

I love this handy tool, I mostly use it not so much for lenses but extension tubes or teleconverters that one need to reach fast when the occasion calls for it.
Will probably buy one more so I can have all four of them easy reached.
