A: No, the hotshoe mount cannot be unscrewed to fix another mounting attachment. The hotshoe is glued to the candy handle.

A: It will not as the A7III uses a different battery than the models this works with.

A: Normally we do not see anyone flying a camera in a cage on stabilizers such as this. We feel that as an operator you will want to avoid using the cage because it will: 1. Make the rig as light as possible, 2. make balancing simpler, 3. not work the motors any more than necessary.

No doubt a feature laden camera, but my favorite is the 5-axis image stabilization ! - I get compact full frame quality with stabilization for my truly vintage legacy glass (all the way back to the 1930's) ! - Talk about a do-all high tech photographic instrument... 5

OK now this is a complete noob review. I recently went to the National Air Force Museum in Dayton and took a bunch of photos with my s21u, and they turned out great. But I wanted to step it up a notch. This camera does that and then some. I paired it with a gmaster prime lense for night time, wide, and video, and a Tamron 70-300 for longer shots. Neither disappoint. One complaint is that some of the settings I need to change fairly often are not programmable to the custom buttons but I may not have figured it out yet. Also if you plan to shoot video on the move, make sure you either dial back the quality to 1080 or invest in a stabilizer. 4k is very shaky unless using a tripod. Over very happy, especially with the s&q. 5

Not much to say as this is my first full frame mirrorless camera and Ive only owned Sony's but I enjoy it so far. Huge improvement over my a6000 for both photo and video and I'm using my same lenses. No complaints other than there is something rattling inside the camera but I can only hear it if it's dead quiet and I've got over 15k actuations on the shutter with no issue so... definitely recommend but I'm a bit of a Sony simp. As far as lenses I use a Sony F4 24-105 G OSS lens mostly and then my sigma 16mm and 30mm which both look fantastically crisp even though they were made for the aps-c format. Looking to get a nice 50mm for portrait and landscape then I'll probably update this review with more details once I get a prime made for the full frame. 5
