Designed for live sound reinforcement, live recording, and studio recording applications, the PreSonus StudioLive 32SX is a Series III S 32-channel digital console, recorder, and audio interface in a low-profile, space-saving frame. The mixer features an integrated hardware and software system with a full-color touchscreen, 25 touch-sensitive, motorized faders and 32 recallable XMAX preamps. The powerful dual-core FLEX DSP engine supercharges the mixer with Fat Channel vintage-style EQs and compressors on every channel, plus a four-slot FLEX FX processor that can run heralded digital reverbs and delays. Streamline your workflow with recallable scene presets, virtual sound check, and the supplied software library, which empowers you with remote control from a computer or iPad, remote monitor mixing using a mobile device, and all the software you need to track, edit, mix, and distribute your music.

The StudioLive 32SX boasts 16 XLR mic inputs and 16 mic/line inputs via XLR-1/4" combo jacks. Additional inputs include four 1/4" aux inputs and a dedicated XLR talkback mic input with phantom power. The mixer provides a balanced XLR mono output, stereo XLR main outputs, 16 analog FlexMix outputs (12 XLR, four 1/4" TRS), a pair of 1/4" monitor outputs, and a 1/4" headphone port. A digital AES/EBU output of the main mix is available via a rear-panel XLR socket. Additionally, unbalanced stereo RCA tape inputs and outputs are on hand to hookup a house music source and a separate stereo recorder. Record 32 channels and the main stereo mix to a Class 10 U3 SD card (available separately) via the onboard 34-track SD recorder, or stream 128 channels (64 in each direction) over USB 2.0 to and from your computer. You can even record redundantly to an SD card and a USB host computer at the same time. Take advantage of the StudioLive 32SX's built-in AVB networking capabilities for flexible system expansion, digital patching between networked devices, and more.

Q: 1. Are you able to use the Master outputs XLR and the 2 monitor outputs 1/4 jacks at the same time?

A: Yes, you can use both outputs at the same time.

A: Yes. Just so long as the camera has a LINE level input.

Q: 3. Its any audio delay option?

A: Yes, the LiveTrak L-8 does have built-in delay and reverb effects and the delay effect can be synchronized with the tempo of your recording project.

Q: 4. Does this have a built-in per-line limiter or compressor?

A: That is a mistake on Zoom's part. 4 Mic Inputs, each with dedicated compression, would have been preferable the 6 without, at this price point. Any time a human voice (speaking or singing) gets in front of a microphone, it's a good idea to have a dynamics "babysitter" in the signal path.

Q: 5. Does this recorder work with OBS for live streaming?

A: Because the Zoom LiveTrak L-8 Portable 8-Channel Digital Mixer and Multitrack Recorder can act as an audio interface into the computer over USB, it could indeed serve as an audio source within OBS in livestreaming applications.

A: You can record the isolated tracks directly to an SD card, to a computer, or both simultaneously.

A: Channels 7 and 8 are both stereo channels. In this case, you have 6 mono inputs for channels 1-6, 2 stereo inputs (for a total of 4) for channels 7-8, and a stereo input for the Master channel. A: No, the Zoom LiveTrak L-12 Digital Mixer & Multitrack Recorder does not have an automix feature.

A: The Zoom LiveTrak L-8 Portable 8-Channel Digital Mixer and Multitrack Recorder's Master Out XLR connections are specified at Line Level and do not have an option to be changed to Mic Level. It does appear that the output level from the XLR connectors can be affected by the Master Fader, however.

Q: 10. When connected via USB for multitrack recording, does the USB also power the mixer, or do you have to use batteries when recording with USB?

A: This mixer/recorder can perform all functions while receiving power through USB.

I have only just received this cutter, made my first mat for a photograph, and it worked out perfectly. Didn't expect my first try to be quite that good! Also used the glass cutting attachment and it also worked perfectly first time. Overall, a pleasant experience.

I purchased the Logan Graphics 32”, 350-1 Compact Elite Mat Cutter to try mat cutting for the first time. Logan seemed to be the manufacturer of choice from what I read. Right Choice! It’s amazingly accurate as long as you can measure accurately with a ruler, add and subtract, and follow some simple instructions, the Logan does the rest.

I cut one mat for practice, then went for the “Gold” on the second try. Perfect! Really!! Then I did it several more times before stopping. Same results! Very satisfied.

This mat cutter is the bargain of the year in my book. It works great and the razors seem to last forever. It can also be used to roughly trim large photos (to a degree). I highly recommend this mat cutter.

I am an amateur photographer who recently joined a photography club. I just made my first prints and needed to mat them for the club competition night. This was going to be expensive if I got someone to do it for me so I decided to buy the mat cutter and learn to do it myself. I expected to produce some duds for my first attempts, but was thrilled that even my very first mat looked like it had come from a professional framer. This will pay for itself in no time as I intend to enter regular competitions. But it is not just the cost saving, it is extremely satisfying to complete the mats yourself as a final part of the artistic process. Highly recommended

This is my first time working with cutting my own mats. I love this cutter, it works great. There was a bit of a learning curve but once I figured everything out it was smooth sailing. I think the product is outstanding. Overall, cutting my own mats and doing my own mounting will save me a lot of money.

It is easy to set up and Logan Design has a very informative video on how to use this tool. The first time I used it and followed the video on how to do a double mat the results were better than I expected. It helps to have the ATG tape & gun.
