A: According to Tilta the matte box is 2.6 lb. Its dimensions are 9.5" X 6". The edge of the lens mount area to the front edge of the matte box is approximately 2.25 inches. This matte box has a number of back pieces that mount to the lens. It offers 34mm, 114mm, 110mm, 95mm and 80mm clamp attachments. Additionally the front of the matte box is 4 x 5.65 and will work with any standard 4 x 5.65 filters.

Q: 2. how strong is the counterbalance?

A: According to ikan the fixed counterbalance helps support payloads of up to 11 pounds.

Q: 3. Hi, what is the minimum camera weight for this tripod? Would it work with a small DSLR camera as well as the heavier camera options?

A: The manufacturer has not published a minimum weight capacity and in a pinch, you can probably mount a DSLR on this without issue, but the head is designed for heavier cameras, which is when its counterbalance prowess and overall performance shine.
